I have been absolutely thrilled with every bouquet they have delivered, always different, and fresh! Sometimes the bouquets last almost the entire two weeks until we get the next one. I spoke with the owner this week and he was amazing! The bouquet this past week was the most beautiful one of all. My mom has enjoyed it so much. She even said today that we shouldn't get anymore because nothing with compare to this one. My recent purchase, was a similar planter box as the previous ones; however, within two days the moisture leaked through the bottom of the box and left a moisture stain on my dining room table. I was surprised the moisture had leaked though the bottom of the box? I then discovered, that the lining in this new box was basically wax paper, the previous boxes were lined with a heavy plastic liner. I called the store and left a message about my experience, with no reply. I then sent a text message after which I received an email from the owner/manager that this was not their problem, not even a discussion about it. I guess the owners focus is now on increased margins, and less so on customer satisfaction. Next time I pickup an arrangement, it will be elsewhere.

The shop inside is small, but don't let that fool you; the selection is terrific. Since her favourite flower is conveniently the most expensive (Lily) it's hard to find a place that has a decent price outside of this shop. The lady that helps me every time is always able to put together a terrific arrangement for a very decent price. She's quick and helpful and unlike most men, knows what it takes to make a bouquet look good. I'll abandon my masculinity temporarily and say that it's beautiful what she makes and Mom loves it every time. A great stop if you want to put a smile on the face of a woman in your life. I told her I wanted some white roses and carnations; she said she had no white roses at the moment, but that some beautiful orange roses had just come in. Beautiful they were! I asked her to use her judgement and put together an arrangement based on those orange roses. The result was beautiful: Sam's sense of colour and design was impeccable. More importantly, she paid as much attention to the little details (like paper and ribbon colours) as to the flowers themselves. I would definitely recommend Petals N Blooms, and would certainly go back again.

My friend sent me a photo of the arrangement when it was delivered. I couldn't believe my eyes! it wasn't nearly as nice or as full as the $45 arrangement. I complained but got a nonsensical response: you really can't tell from that photo, we used nicer flowers and more filler, yada yada... They probably think you'll never know what they sent and that was true in the past. But today with camera phones it's easy to get a photo of the arrangement and know exactly what was sent. Sad to think some businesses will rip off their customers like this. I do not recommend this florist.

What a cute store!!!…read more Thanks to Yelp, I'm exploring businesses I wouldn't normally get the chance to explore, and this having been said, I stumbled into Twigs just yesterday! It's a very eye catching store because there are huge windows in the front that look right into the store. The store is one of the most seasonal stores I've ever seen - what I mean is that during Halloween, it's ALL Halloween. And now, it's ALL Christmas! When you walk in, you're overwhelmed with things, things, everywhere! You almost don't know where to look first! What a lot of people don't know is that while Twigs carries all this stuff, they are also a floral shop! They have flowers for every occasion! Gifts, Decorations, Flowers, OH MY! It's definitely a one stop shop if you're on your way to someone's house for dinner and want to take along something beautiful and thoughtful. The next time I'm heading out for a soiree, I'll definitely make a pit stop at Twigs and ensure I pick up the perfect gift for the host of the evening.

She was working on an arrangement but saw me peering at her. She asked if I needed help and I told her a wanted a gerbra bouquet. I told her to pick the colours and what I get was a beautiful assortment with pussy willow, wax flowers and greens. I also picked up a sunny sunflower, which was nicely packaged for me with a piece of greens. I was worried that Twigs would be too expensive for me, but nope, I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers within my budget. I will come back again and perhaps hint to my husband that Twigs makes some awesome bouquets.

We've been getting arrangements from Summerhill for years that will last for weeks. These came with old flowers that died right away and the look of the arrangements wasn't great to begin with either. Not worth it in my opinion.
