Rise & Shine Panini, Kind bar & tea
Mei T.

While waiting for my flight, I grabbed breakfast at Artisan Marker. My selection was the Rise & Shine Panini (ham, eggs, gouda, provolone, swiss, dijon aioli, levain), a Kind bar, and bottle of my favorite Ito En green tea. The wait was rather long, but it went pretty fast. I ordered and paid at the front counter and my sandwich was ready for pick up at the back counter where the grill was. The layout as a bit backwards and space was tight, so I found myself having to move constantly so people wouldn't run into me. Overall, I really enjoyed my sandwich. The cheese was melted and the bread was crispy, what's there not to love? It was a rather large sandwich for $15 and I could only eat half. Very tasty!

The set up to order and pick up food seems like it needs some work... but food was good! service was pretty fast too. Very pleased when catching an early flight.

Go to this spot if you want some old gross turkey deli meat on a soggy piece of bread with premade guacamole spread and then being charged like 17 bucks. Seriously skip this place for anything except a 15 dollar beer. Jack in the box down the way is a better option and i dont say this lightly

Located terminal 2 SAN Airport. Convenient. Fresh food. Great service. I usually get the breakfast sandwich with bacon on a croissant. Time to time I switch with a jalapeño cheddar bagel. Delicious! Their Turkey sandwich on rye is also good. I tried the lavender vanilla matcha iced. That drink is strong in the lavender flavor. Next time I may just go with vanilla matcha.

My friend doesn't have a big appetite, so she shared her lox bagel with me after we boarded our flight last year. It came with smoked salmon, some greens, and a tomato. I wasn't too hungry, so the portion I had was just right. The bagel had a a nice soft and thick texture, and salmon was delicious. This market is worth a stop if you want to grab something quick while waiting at the airport in San Diego.

Great coffee, nice spot to chill before going to you gate and really good customer service from all. Shout out to Angel for great customer service and recommendations

Getting beer and watching Olympics. Full house!

I ended up spending much more time here than I expected, as my flight was delayed (and ultimately cancelled! But that story is for another day...). However, I was glad there was a good spot to hang out, watch the Olympics, grab one last good San Diego beer, and charge my phone. The guy working behind the bar was nice enough to let me taste a few of the beers before going for a Modern Times can. I also ended up getting a rather pricey and ok avocado and turkey sandwich. There are lots of treats (and beer) you can buy here, which is golden since you're beyond the security line.

Yay! They have Stone Brewing Company, as well as Pannikin Coffee and Firestone Cafe all in one.

I'm happy with what they offer here. There is a small bar area and the bartender is really nice and my conversation with her was very pleasant. That goes a long way with me! There is a lovely smell of baking chocolate chip cookies and people seem to be enjoying their drinks or whatever food they ordered. They serve coffee, sandwiches and salads, and the prices are decent for an airport. Decided to order a berries, roasted chicken and cashew salad to take on the plane from the bartender and it came in literally one minute, which is important at an airport. As far as the actual comfort here, the chairs are not the most comfortable and it is a bit cold. There is a sound system with good bluesy type music on, but it does not appear to be a good sound system. I'm glad it's not too loud. Will definitely stop by here again when flying American Airlines.

Nice convenient place to grab a coffee and bakery item before your flight. You can get just about everything you may want, deli sandwich, beer, soda, breakfast, lunch...snack. You're at the mercy of what is available near your gate and although there is a variety of food, drinks, and snacks, common courtesy doesn't seem to be on the menu here (this morning)....yeah...I'm tired too it's early morning but I'm not getting paid to be a customer here. So, a good morning or hello instead of a curt...we don't open until 5:00 before I even say anything...would be nice. But...whatever...probably the nicest people the rest of the day. There is a Pankin, Stone Brewery, Firewood Cafe all in one spot so it's a good place to get something for everyone in one place. It's a trendy looking place, clean and inviting. Tried the grilled breakfast wrap and it was really very good. The eggs weren't dry and over cooked. Awesome!

Absolutely awful food. Go anywhere else! Very expensive and the english muffin wasn't toasted. The egg was premade and then microwaved.

I searched their website and it showed in stock. At the time, I drove down and they found it for me right away. Today I was walking by and stopped in. I was greeted immediately. I wandered around the upper part of the store. They have a really nice selection and variety of various alcohols, not just wine. I imagine if I lived closer I would stop by regularly. I definitely stop in when I'm in the area.

I couldn't find any place selling wine and this one came up as a wine bank. It didn't have great reviews, so I wasn't expecting much. But it was the only one available so I decided to give it a go. I didn't see much of a selection at - first local wines on the main floor, but when I got two bottles of local wine, the owner told me that they had a basement full of wine from around the world. I went down there and oh boy they have the largest selection of wine from around the world that I have seen in a long, long time. The place has a wide range of wines from $15.99 onto under $100 from what I saw, there is a little cave that had a more curated selection. I did not go in because I didn't want to spend more than $20. But I was actually very surprised by the nice selection of wines that they had from Napa, Sonoma, Chile, Argentina. Italy, France and Germany. I got some Argentinian and some Spanish wine varietals, and they were pretty good. The prices were decent for being in the middle of the gaslamp district and they were friendly. They were very friendly and helpful. There was another gentleman down in the basement and I told him that I was from the Napa Valley region, so I didn't want anything from the Napa Valley and I asked him about the San Diego County Wine. He said not to even bother with those so I stuck with what I Know and usually go for and I was pleasantly surprised and give it a five star. if you're in the area and you need some wine, they have some great wines. The prices are reasonable and happy employees willing to help you if you have any questions. The ambience is quiet nothing to write home about, but I loved how the basement feels like a wine cellar or wine library. I t is very very well put together. Definitely recommend.

The guy pouring was so nice and knowledgeable. We liked the wine so much we grabbed a bottle and decided to drink it there. Added bonus: since it was one of the featured wines, the corkage was free. Bottlecraft is a bottle shop, bar, and cheese shop all in one small, perfectly curated space. They have a lovely outdoor seating area and some indoor seating as well. There are TVs inside, so we were able to catch some exciting March Madness moments while we hung out. When we paid, the host was super friendly and brought us a little ice bucket to keep our chilled wine cold, along with two glasses, and let us choose any table we wanted. They have a wide selection of beers on tap, plus tons of bottles and cans to go. I also appreciate the large section of canned mocktails and NA beers -- love seeing that. They carry wine, beer, vermouth, and more. In the back, tucked away, is Venissimo Cheese, which is amazing. You can order cheese plates, sandwiches, and other goodies to enjoy with your drinks. Definitely check out their website for upcoming events and their current tap list. Such a fun, easy, local spot -- I'll be back.

They now have both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it a great spot to actually hang out instead of just grabbing something to go. You can order beer or wine from their draft list and enjoy it there, or grab a bottle off the shelf and have them open it for you. Of course, you can also stock up and take everything home. Their beer selection is always impressive, with a wide range of styles and hard to find bottles, and the wine selection holds its own too. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Bonus: Venissimo is inside the store, so you can order grilled cheeses and enjoy them with your drink. A solid beer and a perfectly melty grilled cheese is hard to beat. Great selection, relaxed vibe, and now an even better space to enjoy it all. Definitely worth a visit.
