My first and last time dining at this restaurant due to the poor service and dissapointing main course. We had gone for lunch for my wife's birthday and although the starters were up to the high standard this restaurant boasts the customer service regarding the rotten beef on the artisan platter was totally handled in the incorrect manner.After speaking to the floor supervisor/ manager about the the dis-colour and smell of the beef that had also tainted the other meats, she kindly brought over some more. The replacement meat looked fresher but still had the same rotten smell like it had been stored with the meat from my last meal. Myself and my wife left the meal unsatisfied, leaving most of the platter and went to pay. I asked for a refund of just the platter, the floor supervisor refused and said " it is usual for meat to dis-colour over time"(the beef had a green tinge), i replied, i know this but it also smelt off. The chefs had also told her that it was completely fine? Why did she bring me more if the first platter was right?. We always give restaurants the benefit of the doubt and would generally return, but the poor quality of customer service in regards to our complaint and the dismal explanation mean that sadly we wont return, a simple apology and refund of just a platter has lost another paying returning customer. read more
