This store is attached to Bath & Body Works and they seem to be owned by the same company. I'm usually someone who looks for candles at Walmart or in the home section of Marshalls, but next time I run out of them I may splurge on one from here. This store had an abundance of decent sized candles for $12.50. The scents were truly amazing and they had such a nice selection too! In addition to candles, they also offer candle holders. I like that they also offer holiday themed candles. Employees were friendly and asked if I needed help. Nice spot to check out if you are a candle fanatic.

There was one thing I regretted not purchasing yesterday--the Southhampton Wool Herringbone Throw in Estate Grey color. It's made in England from 100% new wool. When I happened to be in the area again this afternoon, I decided to go back and get it, and I was so happy to find it still available! The two ladies working behind the counter were both warm, and extremely courteous. They made my second visit just as pleasant as the first. I'm so happy I came back and purchased the throw today.

The candles come in all sizes and fragrances imaginable, so there are endless options to choose from. While the quality of the candles is certainly there, the price is reflective of that. Although they do have occasional sales, I personally find them to be generally high priced, but I'm sure there are other people that find their prices to be okay. That said, I do recommend stopping in for the experience and judging for yourself. There is plenty of parking, handicapped accessable and it has clean public restrooms. The name I drew (again) asked for candles and since I'm 2800 miles from home I made the trek to Bernsrdston to see if I could score some something different from the offerings back in Nevada. The helpful and courteous staff was right there when I needed assistance. Lord of scents and styles for your candle shopping. Seriously, check out the clearance area. I was blown away by the great prices! I knocked out my Christmas shopping in one stop. Highly recommended.

That sweet tie dye dress in the window? MINE! There was also a super cool leather woven bag in the window, too. Maybe next time. Melinda (I hope I got her name right?) the owner is dripping with style and great taste. She looks like a fashion designer. Good news: you too can look like Melinda, because her racks are filled with tons of dresses, tops, pants and skirts...natural fabrics and so pretty. She also has eye wear...like REALLY COOL eye wear. Awesome home wares, too. And I bought a super special candle that will always bring me back to Hudson when I light it. Smells like fancy pine. Also! Everything in there feels fancy, but it's affordable. Looking forward to seeing what she has for me next time.

They have candles in a variety of themes for owl lovers, mushroom lovers, yoga enthusiasts, etc. While some may find the prices a little steep (I overheard a guy trying to convince his girlfriend to just buy candles in the dollar store because it's so much cheaper), the prices are not terribly unreasonable. Expect to pay a slight premium due to the touristic location but also no shipping and a unique experience.

The store clerk was friendly and welcoming as she greeted me and every customer in the store, offering assistance and information on the vast array of items. There were toys (mostly nostalgic toys and also unique games that you wouldn't find at a brand named chain store), items that were locally hand crafted, candies, tea, candles, books, kitchen knick knacks ....and the list goes on. The prices were average/the same you would see in a similar store, but this country store probably has the most varied items I've seen in one place. It's definitely a "must see" especially if you're looking for a gift or souvenir.

(I'd advise you to make an online reservation as it was crowdef when we went). You have an instructor and get to smell 80ish scents and chose which three you'd like to make for your candle! Its mix and match and you can always swap a scent out that you chose to get the most perfect smell. It was so unqiue that you can chose which vessel you'd like your candle to be seen in (there can be an upcharge depending on which you chose). You can even make your scent become a diffuser or perfume!! Lastly, there are drinks and food avaliable. Come back after two hours and you're candle is ready to go home. Shout out to Val for being so kind and patient! If you go, try and request her! She will make your experience one to remember.
