The lady on the phone talked to me while I was meandering around the area in my truck on a dark road. Thank goodness!! She was so accommodating! For example: the number of nights I wanted to stay. Minimum is two nights. I was allowed to stay one. After I was assigned to one cabin, she allowed me to stay in a different cabin. Pulling up to park at my assigned cabin my headlights showed 3 deer!! Another times, I saw them from the balcony, several more deer. In fact, they seemed within an arm's reach. The balcony was clean with a covered table, hot tub and a means to charcoal meats. The grill utensils hung along the guard rails. Once inside, it appeared very clean. Every possible amenity was available (except robes or q-tips). Fireplace, cut wood, lighter, microwave, fold out couch, mini fridge, window unit, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, table and 2 chairs, tv, wifi, ceiling fan, towels (request extra if using the hot tub), shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Of course, a large cozy bed! The hot tub is small. My best guess would be that they can accommodate 4 small bodies max. Great jets and very hot water! The showers are so clean and sparkly! The shampoo, conditioner and body soap hang on the wall. All have a very mild scent. It was a perfect get away for me.

We went right at dusk, but I think if it had been truly dark, we could have seen the resort from miles away. ALL. THE. LIGHTS. (And, other decorations.) We were surprised by the amount of holiday cheer that was put up. Lots of inflatables (some quite unique). If you're in the area, I would certainly check it out. Our campsite had great shade but wasn't on the water (late night loop 104) but was near the bathroom which I appreciated. The showers and toilets could be cleaner but I feel like there is only so much they can do with the amount of lake swimming and sheer amount of folks using the restrooms. I definitely recommend water shoes not only for the lake but also the showers. Although I brought supplies for making French press coffee, I ended up getting an iced late at the coffee shop in the main office. We had some of the breakfast buffet (carton eggs, sausage, hashbrowns) and it was all pretty good. We signed up for a glow tube night trip on Friday and a float trip on Saturday. Both were fun but I don't think I'd need to do 2 float trips in a weekend in the future. The resort drops you off at the tubing drop site up the river and you end either at the resort or a mile up the river where they'll bus you back. It's pricey but it does include a lot of amenities and is definitely a one stop shop for tubing. I think next year we'll look into the cabins or pods. ;tldr it's pricey but you get hot showers, toilets, coffee, and busing for the float trips built in. Late night loop is rowdy so if you want something more quiet, consider avoiding this area.

They definitely aren't all as good as this one. It's a tad outdated, and it still has rooms with doors to the outside, which I hate. And they stink because people smoke right outside them. But the other rooms are all fine. Especially the king suite! Those are very nice. The best part about this location is the full hot breakfast and the cookies they put out! Bacon, ham, sausage, eggs, biscuits & gravy, waffles! It's really nice. Staff have always been super nice to me too. I'll stay here many more times to come.

The AC had the room cold (really cold), which we like for sleeping but I will say it was a little loud, but not so bad as to keep either of us awake. The bathroom was large and had a nice walk in shower. The water pressure was a little low in the shower but we were on the third (top), floor so that's to be expected. Overall a great stay and we will certainly use this hotel if we are back in the area.

Needless to say, this experience did NOT start off well. Even worse, the room smelled awful, as if it hadn't been cleaned very well or as if housekeeping was covering up the smells of a previous customer who used the room as their own personal smoking or vaping den. Like a lingering ghost, the smells wafted about and permeated every cubic inch of that room, even disturbing my sleep. At least the shower was excellent with tremendous water pressure. But the experience was pretty overwhelming.

They remembered us each time they saw us, even our room number. We needed an accessible room and they didn't have one available the first night, but they made sure we got into one the next morning. The breakfast is good and there is plenty of it. The rooms were really clean as well. The hotel is conveniently located near the Walmart (the largest store in town) and several food options as well.
