A sudden ThunderStorm they are ominous 5. Rain will come in a flash and afterwards are the rainbows if we are lucky, a "Sun Dog!" 6. Slight Snow 1 to 2 inches 7. We are getting a snowstorm meaning: 4 to 9 inches 8. The occasional SNOW BLIZZARD, except higher elevations - chains on your car 9. Wear 3-4 layers of clothing: Dress to Peel is the saying, chilly mornings, warm throughout the day and dang cold at night - have a fireplace. 10. The Deadly lightning Storms. They strike your gardens, bird bath will be shattered, double check if you are hiking - get to safety and not under a tree, these Colorado lightning storms will split a tree and YOU! I listen to e-books daily, and I had to purchase an Audible account as the library switches over to Libby, which will significantly impact the pace of my reading as I won't be able to afford to buy as many books as I've been listening to through the library. I attempted to check out over a dozen e-books through Libby, only to discover most of them have multiple people waiting to check them out, in addition to long wait times. I legitimately couldn't find a single e-book available for check-out that was listed among the hundreds of books on my Goodreads waitlist. It seems the inventory is smaller through Libby; the week they made the switch, I found a book on Boundless that doesn't exist on Libby. I understand the switch is to lower costs and that Boundless had become too costly, but it's nonetheless disappointing. My hobby of listening to books during exercise and chores may be coming to an end. It was good while it lasted.

Individual booths, to large lounging sofa type seating with lower tables; including 5 mini to 10 person private rooms, renting free for two hours, (these are booked in advance and do go fast). Including the "Majestic Ceiling To "almost" Floor" Windows, capturing a walk-about park, eye resting greenery; watch the Canadian Geese flying overhead, or if in luck, you will see flying eagles and hawks soaring in the blue skies, these windows capture the entire Rocky mountain range. And there is more: All these lovely perks, a lounge with oversize seating and low lying tables to plug in and work or view the park's landscape. There are tall tables for several to join or singularly - "PLUG IN" some playing online chess, others' concentrated on projects or gaming. Additionally, there are more larger private rooms, where we had a community Voting and registration, well organized and simple. These rooms host a diversity of functions, from story time to reading of a particular book week for anyone who enjoys listening. AND Spanish classes conducted by Emmanuel! (see the short video below) This Library is located across from Belmar shopping, across from Whole Foods, Target, and a host of many boutiques/stores in Lakewood. Plenty of parking and one last mention: "Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park" is right down the street with lots of trees for a shaded respite! Toddler story time is Thursdays downstairs from 10:30-11:00 and infants are on Tuesdays during the same time period. When the weather is nice it's directly out front taking advantage of the nearby park. Some parking out back and a lot of street and neighborhood parking directly in front. Denver did recently change some of the parking signs so be sure to peep before parking incorrectly. Didn't see a notice of the change. Pretty sneaky Denver. The staff here is super friendly. I did not know this but there are so many benefits to getting a library card from the Denver Library system, free print jobs - up to 200 pages a day, free access to Udemy and Libby.... and being able to reserve books online... the card is good for 80 years. I know this is probably known information but the Udemy platform was new to me. Come check them out, such a charming library!

So many fun classes and events on the list and not just for children but for adults too! I signed up ahead of time for an adult "Art Garage" painting class. It was a couple of relaxing hours to learn different painting techniques and make art! All the supplies were included for the class, free! Throughout the month there are different classes each week like tai-chi, meet friends while you knit, gemstone and mineral class, etc. The library is not a quiet boring place!! Attend a class and make new friends! This library in Evergreen has a beautiful setting among the trees and outdoor sculptures! Free parking, and helpful, nice staff members.

They're always super nice and have taught me how to find books and for kiddos always have the best suggestions. We love story time here they have them in English and Spanish! It's a great community library and always have fun activities when kids are out school and they get so creative with them too. We make this a weekly to monthly visit during the cold time year plus we love the park though it gets super busy!
