Came here for a night cap with my husband and some buddies. We went on a Saturday night and karaoke was fun! Everyone is respectable and kind. The staff is great and attentive with no attitudes. The drinks are good and cheap $5 beers. I enjoyed the pool tables and karaoke sessions definitely made the night. read more

Mr. Bowen, we are originally from out of town, we love coming to Artesia Lanes. But unfortunately our likeness has changed, a bunch of co-workers and I have attended. We love the fact that there is pool tables and darts. Unfortunately the ac had been down 2 times in a row. It is extremely hot in the bar section. We have asked bartenders to open doors, asked permission to open a door to the outside and as we were doing it, the General Manager Robert, is yelling at us that we couldn't do it. There was not an excuse me, there was no a subtle action, he just yelled at us, while being outside with some one. I was unaware that this place had a general manager that could yell at his patrons. He then yelled they have no authority to that door, speaking of the bartender. Mr. Bowen you should really consider sending his management to patrons courtesy classes. As per staff he treats them the same, I have the staff members name, I can provide them to you directly if neededWe like coming to this place, but after this, we can not recommend this place to any one. Treatment and service say a lot about a place. Kudos to your staff, but a person that feels has the authority to yell at patrons makes this place look bad. I am glad the staff does not follow that character. It's not even much about the ac being out anymore, it's about how people get treated at an establishment. To the general manager do better! From first judging the outside and then walking in I was impressed. I chose the pay by hour $20 but the cheaper option would have been paying per game. Initially there was an issue with the balls not coming back, so they had to move us to another lane. There was a hose and some other 'junk' on the side of the lanes by the walk which I thought was unprofessional. There was also a bar.. but you can't bring your drinks down where the screen key board is / where you sit.. lights could have been turned down and some music played.. they also start at 10:40 start turning off the TVs which I thought was a little rude since they don't close until 11.. it felt like they were rushing us.
