The best care, wonderful massage, perhaps the best I have ever had. Yakeen really took the time to understand my issues. It was so peaceful and quiet. The office is all family, as near as I could see, but being in there I felt like family too. read more

Good massage. Very friendly staff at a fair price. The masseuse was great at communicating with you and your needs.

Making the reservation was very easy. It's a family owned business father, mother and daughter. They are all bilingual and communication was easy. The space is modest but clean and comfortable. The location is right across the street from Condado, Vanderbilt, and very safe. The massages were very high quality and with excellent communication. My wife and daughter were very comfortable and impressed. I definitely like that they paid attention to the questionnaire that we filled out before arriving and extra attention was spent on the spots indicated. I definitely would recommend going here. read more

While visiting the island for a quick getaway, I bookmarked this place before I left NY. I figured warm weather in the middle of January along with the sun and fun, I'd get a long over due massage. I stopped by on Tuesday, January 17th 2023. The address is listed as 1022 Ashford Avenue. The more precise location is actually towards the back of the building that sits on the avenue. We passed it by many times before figuring out that the entrance is in the middle of the block, not on the avenue itself. You walk down a few steps and into a foyer. A woman named Shanti, the owner greeted me. She was pleasant and took my number to call me about an appointment. She was in the middle of training some future massage therapists. I returned on Friday January 20th for my scheduled appointment with Joshua. He was pleasant, attentive and gave me an excellent deep tissue massage. I deducted one star from this review because of the actual room where the service was performed. This salon is located in a basement. The room is below street level with a window. That window was open and I was listening to street sounds the entire session. People talking, yelling, cars, motorcycles etc. Although there was a zen like soundtrack being played, the open window made it impossible to really relax. The massage was more expensive in comparison to mainland prices. I attribute that to the tourist location. Even with that I would have not minded, had it been a more tranquil environment. This was a good experience that could have been great. read more

My husband and I experienced an excellent couples massage at Artes Misticas. From booking to the massage itself, they were skilled, competent and communicative! I was able to book online and got quick confirmation and proactive communication about the appointment/cancellation times. When we arrived, both masseuses had reviewed our information re: focal areas and it was reflected in the massages, and they regularly checked in re: comfort, pressure, etc. We hope to return the next time we're in the area. read more

Excellent massage! Debated the spa at Marriott and 'tis place and based on reviews ended up going with Artes Misticas and was not disappointed! Had a couples massage and can say it was one of the best massages I've had. If you're looking for a great massage in Puerto Rico, choose them! read more

Booked a couples massage while on our Valentines vacation and couldn't have picked a better place! Both therapists were personal to each of us and asked where we really needed to focus on. We both got up feeling 100% better than when we walked in and had such a peaceful day the rest of the afternoon. Will definitely be back anytime we're in town! read more

I really love this place! I was in SJ for vacation, and really needed a massage for my neck. Jacken was so kind and did an amazing job releasing the tension in my neck and shoulders. It's such a calm atmosphere there, and you can tell that they really care about achieving your needs. I get immediately at ease, and I felt so much better after my massage with Jacken, I booked another! I really wish they were by where I lived in continental US! I highly recommend this kind, experienced massage studio. read more

These guys were great. Super flexible seeing me on short notice (less than 12 hours) over a holiday weekend. The massage was thorough and provided much needed relief. Thank you! Their location is convenient in the Condado area with plenty of public parking lots nearby if you need to drive. Otherwise it's on the main strip on Ashford. read more

I have been coming to artes místicas for a few years now. They offer professional massages and excellent yoga classes in small groups with individual attention. The focus is in holistic health so the classes are very mindful regarding previous injuries or areas of interest. I have worked principally with Annette but Yakeen and Shanti are also excellent. read more

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our couples' massage greatly! Best massage either of us have ever had! Calm music playing, the place smelled great, very soothing. Must stop here for a massage by true professionals. He especially enjoyed how she stretched him our during his massage, as he works out daily and was pretty stiff. Joaquin and his wife are the owners of this school and are amazing massage therapists. Would definitely go back! read more
