Went over the treatment plan. While he sees you once a week during treatment, don't get me wrong. He quickly runs through like an assembly line. May sound bad, but, if you need the time and have questions. He stays and answers. He doesn't mind at all. During treatment I was also referred to Bethany, she is fantastic. Sits you down, goes through everything, scans, biopsy results, types of additional hormone therapy. She is the reason I returned this year for the follow up. My only problem is communication. I called after calling the Las Cruces location to cancel that appointment. I ended up just leaving a message, my information phone number. need to cancel. The one time I really needed it? I was in Wyoming, fantastic campsite 1-1/2 hours away from cell reception. Got my reminder on fourth of July weekend for the appointment reminder. So, I ended up calling both west/east side, options for existing and new patients. Same message, name, birthdate, phone number and I need to cancel. When I finally got someone to answer? Well, I calmly tried to explain. Goes like this: this is... I've been trying to call, left 4 messages(got cut off with a hostile "I didn't get any message on this machine.............) I let her rant, then said I needed to cancel, out of sate, I just had the bloodwork done so it probably wouldn't be back in time in time to keep the appointment and just make it telephonic. She gave me a date. Since it's 1-1/2 hours away down a road I got three flats on. I went 2+ hour ahead of time. Sat for hours waiting. 30 - 45 minutes I call them, they say I didn't have an appointment. Seriously think she did it on purpose. Wile I let her rant about the 4 messages. I didn't tell her it was under 4 different options. with messages left. In all reality it was 5 if you include the first time about a month earlier when I cancelled the Appointment at the Las Cruces location. Once again though? Most of the time it is easy to get a hold of someone. I have bad luck at times for the important calls.

So either you're not that serious or you're just playing games. Ironic thing is that they asked me about caffeine and how much I consume in a day. I lied to them and they haven't asked about it since. Also Dr. Christopher Olivares CAN'T STAY ON TOPIC. I came to you all to fix my kidneys! Not some random fertility thing! Dr. Christopher Olivares is turbo weird. Saying random things like "are we going to have problem?" when nothing happened. I'm not the one that hired a guy to move the patients seat and hide behind it in a black suit. You all did. And asking if I could hear outside the room after I moved away from the door, and wall, were people were constantly talking on the other side and they were louder than the nurse in the room asking me questions. At which she was weird too. She would just sit there and say nothing so I'd stare at the floor. Or when he asked if my main doctor was a endocrinologist he said "Cool!" about 10x times. Like...what? You're not an endocrinologist either so what does it matter? It's not even your field. And fu for mocking things I said back to me. When I went home they wouldn't approve the imaging center I lived near. So now I have to drive 2 ish hours to get something done that I could have done in my home town. They put it down as Stat and all the imaging centers seem to either not care or put it 3+ days out. Stop yelling. Just because one nurse who wants to speak with a thick accent while whispering in a loud waiting room doesn't mean I can't hear you in a regular room. She also had a habit of ignoring questions then going back what she said. Like she asked about some kind of shot and I asked her if I get the shot would I have to take the antibiotics the doctor sent to my pharmacy (that delayed them for some reason). I even showed her their app and where it said it was delayed. She then ignored it and asked if I was on antibiotics. She knowingly asked this again for the 10th+ time after explaining I had run out, didn't get a refill, showed her the app, and was asking about the shot. She rarely answered any questions and kept ignoring everything other thing I said. Also it took me a while to remember, but no my "son" didn't call. You all called me about the appointment and I said my Dad was hard of hearing since he was driving me there. You all are the weirdest and worst group I've ever experienced. If you didn't help so many people in the area I would have wished this place was closed down. There wasn't any reason for any of your bs. Also your patient portal is complete crap. It keeps crashing and refusing to let me download my medical information.

At the behest of my better half, I was able to park my Ranger at work and hike the short distance to this fine facility. Walking in, I was greeted with enthusiam, led by Eddie, who gave me valuable personalized assistance in properly filling out the required documentation. I was quite impressed with how quickly Medical Assistant Gloria got me into the clinic room and take my vitals (all good, except for excessive weight!). Shortly thereafter, PA Astrid entered and evaluated my condition, while I slowly inhaled/exhaled, as well as irrigating my plugged starboard ear. This is an extremely professional medical facility, open six days/week: Monday - Friday (07:00-20:00), Saturday (08:00-17:00) and always ready to help anybody who comes through the door, either by appointment or walk-in. This is a 5-star facility which has my "Wheel of Approval!"

Well in wanting to return to Pete his office told me that I would not be allowed to see him again since now I was in the care of the other provider. I just did not like Dr. Nofeh one bit and told Natividad's office this. She was very cold. I explained this to the office and still I was not allowed to returned to Pete even though he is the 1st provider I saw. How does that make sense??? While my mom was a new patient now they took her right away. So me as a returning patients they will not take me on because I have now seen by Dr. Nofeh and now will never be allowed to see Dr. Natividad. This all doen't make sense. Please someone help me understand.

Probably the best thing I like about going here is that after you are in the exam room and Pete comes in he takes the time to listen. I came here to see if the doctor or someone else could prescribe something for pain. I saw a nurse practitioner. He was able to prescribe something for my pain. He also referred me to another location for a primary care provider (pcp). I was hoping I could find one here but I guess not. Anyway, I was able to get a couple of prescriptions for pain a couple of days later. This was the main reason I stopped by. The place was super clean in the lobby and exam room. This is a good place to come if you don't want to visit the emergency room. They're open everyday until 8:30 or 9:30 pm daily. I think that's pretty late for an urgent care center which is great! You won't spend that long here which I also appreciated. I would come here again if I didn't want to go to the ER. They may have too many patients to be seen as a pcr. That's fine, I can go elsewhere for one. I have a couple of places in mind. They're next to a CVS which is great to pick up prescriptions.

They do take walk-ins, but appointments are recommended. Ms. Jessica Hinson is one of Dr. Gonzalez's PA's, and she is amazing! She listens, and takes her time. I never feel that she is in a hurry to get to the next patient. When blood work is needed, it is convenient because they have a lab on the premises, you don't have to arrange to have it done elsewhere. They also can do EKG's if necessary. My entire family has all their health-care needs taken care of at Family Medical Associates!

They knew their patients, listened to concerns, and provided prompt, efficient service both in person and over the phone. Unfortunately, the level of care and service I have experienced recently has declined significantly. On multiple occasions, I have spent 15-20 minutes on hold after being told, "I will be right with you," only to continue waiting with no resolution. For a patient who is ill and seeking medical assistance, this is both frustrating and unacceptable. More concerning is the quality of care I received during my most recent illness. I was seen by a nurse practitioner who was unfamiliar with my medical history and appeared to dismiss my concerns when I failed to improve after taking a Z-Pak and benzonatate. Throughout the years, I have repeatedly explained that benzonatate has never been effective for me. I am asthmatic and have a history of developing bronchitis and pneumonia, making respiratory illnesses particularly serious. Eight days after my appointment, my condition had worsened considerably. My lungs became so congested that I struggled to breathe despite using my nebulizer. My coughing fits intensified, causing headaches, shortness of breath, and significant discomfort. That day, I called the office three separate times seeking assistance and possibly stronger medication. Each call involved the same lengthy hold times, only to be told that someone would see whether the nurse practitioner would respond. No meaningful assistance was provided. Out of frustration, I submitted refill requests through Walgreens for my cough syrup and the Z-Pak. The following day, I called again and was informed that the nurse practitioner recommended an over-the-counter cough medication. Frankly, I found that response unbelievable. If the prescribed treatment had already failed, and I had been seen only days earlier with worsening symptoms, recommending an over-the-counter medication seemed dismissive and completely disconnected from my condition. Not surprisingly, the refill requests submitted through Walgreens were denied. At this point, I feel as though I do not matter, not even as a patient number. I should not have to repeatedly chase medical attention when I am clearly ill and struggling to breathe. Whether the practice is overwhelmed with patients or facing other challenges, the treatment and service I have received are unacceptable. I pay for medical care and expect a reasonable level of responsiveness and attention. Even if the services were provided free of charge, patients deserve to be treated with dignity, concern, and professionalism. The care I have received during this illness has fallen far short of that standard. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve both patient service and patient care moving forward.
