Their return policy is horrible. I went in to purchase a necklace with my sister for our mother…read morefor Christmas. When our mom wore the necklase on Christmas Day, she noticed that it was irritating her skin and eventually cut her neck. I called and explained my concerns to the owner (Ann) and she said that I had missed the window for the refund. Being that i am in the service industry, i was taken back by her response. If there is one time of year that your refund policy should be extened, this is that time. Overall it was a horrible expierence and I could not believe how argumentative the owner was. I will never shop in this store again and would advise against buying "gifts" there.

My daughter & I entered, looking thru different items, as though we were not together. The saleswoman, not the owner, couldn't decide which of us to attack first, not whom to offer assistance to. I cut her off saying I was looking for a particular designer, she then set her sights on making my daughter feel out of place, as though she (or I) was above our financial means. Seriously, are you really going to profile in your hilltop retail establishment? Had heard this place had an attitude & definitely lived up to the hype. Will NOT be back here ever again.

The return policy was clearly a two-day return across vendors, and it was always communicated upfront. Some reviews read more like narratives than factual accounts--no quotes, no context, just interpretation presented as fact. Even small personal jabs (like comments about someone's hair) don't exactly add credibility. From my experience, this is a well-run store with a helpful and respectful team.

Every time…read moreI've made a purchase, the cashiers have been very clear about the return policy -- items must be returned within 2 days, and anything marked final sale cannot be returned. I appreciate that they consistently explain the policy so customers know the rules upfront. This past weekend, I went shopping with my mom on Saturday. On Sunday she asked me to return a pair of earrings because the closure wasn't secure. I went back to the store with the item and the receipt about 15 minutes before closing. When I brought the item to the counter, the interaction started with some not-so-inviting remarks. I asked the associate helping me if there was an issue returning jewelry, and she said there wasn't but that she needed to check the receipt because of the strict policy. Before she even looked at my receipt, another employee with reddish hair stepped in and said they had to be careful because people "try to get over all the time." At that point, my receipt still hadn't even been reviewed. I firmly explained that my mom had asked me at the last minute to return the item and that I really didn't want to come back out, but because of their policy she wanted to make sure it was returned within the timeframe. The other employee responded sarcastically, saying, "Well, your mom is right." The associate who was originally helping me then completed the return without any issue. Afterward, I quickly checked out at one shop and headed out since the stores were closing. As I walked toward the door, I could hear the same employee loudly expressing her frustrations, and when she noticed me she immediately stopped and turned away. I completely understand why a business like this needs to have a strict return policy, and I respect that. However, the commentary and assumptions made during the process were unnecessary. A simple, professional interaction would have made the experience much more pleasant.

Finally was able to stop in and take a look while a friend from out of town was visiting this past…read moreweekend. They have a broad selection of items packed into this little store. Some antiques, some restored antiques and some new things. They had furniture, soap, decorative elements, some cute driftwood/recycled wood frames I have been looking for for a while, and some other items. All good stuff. We were mostly left alone to browse at our leisure which is fine with me, I hate being followed around while I stop and look and take Yelp photos. They didn't have a huge selection of items but what they did have appeared to be priced fairly reasonably and of good quality. If you are looking for some items you probably won't find at a local retail chain, this could be a good option.

The shop is full of fabulous finds and there's tons of room to walk around. I loved how it was spaced out. My husband and I bought a cute side table to go beside our couch at our apartment, a gurgle pot, and a cute seashell pillow for our couch. They'll paint a piece for you if you find a wood piece that you love elsewhere. I went here twice today just deciding on what to get and they're always getting new pieces in. They sell pieces by artists in the shop,, so you're bound to find something. There were tea towels, soaps, matted photos, and the list goes on. You could spend awhile just browsing and debating items.
