Call it Yankee Candle or Confederate Light House, people still swarm all over this seasonal shop for its awesome deals and its infinite candle variety in all colors, sizes, and smells. Though I've seen it in many malls across many states, this is actually the first time I've ever stepped into a Yankee Candle store. To my surprise, it smells nice in here, It's clean, uncluttered, and noticeably spacious. As strange as it sounds, it does set a slight mood of tranquility. It's probably busiest during the holiday season. The aromas from all of the scented candles combined to create a lot of pop-and-sniff action from patrons visiting here. Prices are generally a little higher than most candles one will find in generic arts and craft stores, but the variety is unmatched. Be sure to stop in here when they have deals like I did, as many of the candles were 50-75% off.

They from what I last hear are currently more of an online and mobile candle making shop, but I hope they are able to come back and open up a brick & mortar again. If you're seeing this review check out their website and you too will appreciate the descriptions of each candle and have a solid understanding of what to expect. Wicks Nola is more than just candles though they have linen sprays, aromatherapy focused products, and more. I also would consider their bulk candle program if I had a moment that required buying gifts in bulk as they offer a steep discount once you buy a certain quantity.

I have seen these candles everywhere for my entire life and I had no idea! This shop is small, but as soon as you walk in you are inundated with the sweet smell of all of the candles they sell. They have a "scent bar" where you can sniff and smell all of the candles to your heart's content. I will say that I was pretty impressed by how strong the candles are and how "on the nose" the scents were. They have a cupcake scent that smells exactly like fresh bakes cupcakes. How do they even do that? The girl working was friendly enough and greeted us with a "hello". The candles are fairly well priced for the size and they seemed to be having some sales on the smaller jars, so that's a good deal if you are looking for some candles.
