HIGHLY recommend. 1000000/10. Gave me the exact beautiful nail design I asked for if not better.
I am new to the area, so I decided to give them a try. I have been to them twice now and both times they have been consistent. The shop isn't super special, but it makes up for it with cleanliness, good attitude, good work, value for the money, and I have been able to walk right in and be helped each time even on a Saturday. In my opinion that's everything you need! Don't judge my dry hands...I want to show that I brought a picture and she did a great job recreating the look!
This will be my go-to place for nails when in the area! T did a fantastic job on my gel (shellac) manicure. I was greeted upon walking into the establishment. Wait time was short. The space is not big, but the service is awesome! All technicians were very pleasant, but T was exceptional! He went over and beyond the cap of duty to ensure I was a satisfied customer. I'll definitely refer people here.
I loved this place. They were nice and inviting. T did very well on my ombré witch nails! Loved them you even got praises from a different nail salon in Lafayette!
Got my nails done for Christmas, very satisfied with the results. Mr. T did a very good job on making sure my nails were just the way I wanted them. I recommend this place.
I like my nails schizophrenic. The glitter French manicure says classic glamour with a twist, but the shape screams, "Danger!" They are a less common, sharp stiletto shape that hearken back to the va-va-voom femme fatales of a bygone era. Acrylic powder with a gel topcoat and hard as concrete. They multitask as lock picks, can openers and if needed, deadly weapons. Not long ago someone exclaimed, "Those are vampire nails!" Grrrr. Sam is the best nail tech I have ever had do my nails. His wife stated he is the best in Lake Charles, but that is a massive understatement. I've been getting my nails done for some time, had them done in multiple states, and I've never had as good a quality job as I have had done at Art Nails by Sam. For a month I had been very busy running around, lifting heavy objects and scrubbing with all kinds of chemicals, not to mention I am hard on nails in general...and people were still telling me my nails looked great and had I just had them done...six weeks later! Plus there was absolutely NO lifting, not even a little bit. In order for that to happen you MUST have two things: 1. High quality products and 2. A phenomenal nail tech. Art Nails has both. Kim and Steven are super friendly and give great pedicures. But Sam is the man for nails. He won't give you the warm and fuzzies though. And don't give him some super complicated design to figure out or ask him to suggest a color for you. I can only euphemistically describe his personality as acerbic. But he is the best. Once I figure out what softens him up, I'm going to have him wrapped around my freshly sharpened, pointy little finger.
I'm really picky about nail salons! I had made an appointment for four. They actually sat my friend down at 3:50 and me fifteen mins later. Good! The place including the restroom was clean. No junk all over covered in nail dust lol. Seriously that's just not necessary. The guy was really good. He was fast, thorough, polite and look looked for any mistakes he might had made. My nails turned out really cute. Praying they last a while, and that I've found my nail Haven.
Staff was very nice and professional. My refill only cost $17, and I'm very happy with the results. I had originally gotten my full set at the salon in the mall, but the work was sloppy, and I felt like I needed a refill after a few days. Now they feel a lot stronger, and just look better. I'm definitely coming back to this salon.
Had a good time here with the wife. Good experience and service. They use a new sanitary set of tools for each person. Only thing I didn't like was that it cost additional $5 for a man. See attached price sheet.
I was looking for a place to get a quick set of gel nails. This place was perfect. I did go on a Monday so it wasn't busy at all. Kim was a perfectionist and the price was very reasonable ($25). I even got a quick hand massage that was great. If I'm ever in lake Charles and need a service I definitely will revisit.
Awesome service! I came on a Saturday afternoon, probably not the best time of the day to go to a nail salon, but it was well worth the wait. Be prepared to wait because these people are busy! They seem to have loyal customers and I'm officially one of them. Kim did a beautiful job on my nails. I got a full set, almond cut with design. Thin and perfectly shaped. $31! Good price! Thanks, Kim! 5/5 stars!
I have gone thru 5 different places before I found this one. They are great! They will do any design you ask for. Other places have hurt me and made my fingers bleed. Not here! I won't go anywhere else!

Came in for a mani and a pedi and I have never been more impressed! I make frequent trips to Lake Charles and have always had bad luck at nail places here. I am so glad I took a chance on Art Nails, their staff is friendly and engaging and they made my hands and feet look better than they have in the past. If you are in Lake Charles and you are looking for a nail salon I highly recommend coming here. read more

Husband and I walked in with no appointment and was immediately seated in the pedicure chairs- 5 stars for that! There was plenty of color polish to chose from and were given a book that list the services they offer with the prices. I opted for $45 deluxe pedi with exfoliating scrub, massage, hot towel and paraffin wax. The lady did ok but my pedi felt so rushed especially for the amount I paid for :/ we were not offered refreshments and she didn't even talk- which was no biggie. I just wish the pedicure lasted longer. The place was clean though, and locals seems to go here because they started getting busier as I was letting my polish dry under the drying lamp. Good thing we walked in when we did. read more

Horrible. I got there most expensive pedicure based on the reviews I thought it would be great! My leg massage was maybe 5 minutes way less than description. I got home and all my toes are messed up. I need all the toes repainted! read more

i'm super particular about my nails and don't get them done often, but i'll be returning to Art Nails. the shop and tools were clean and the people were very nice and accommodating. i told them i didn't want my nails cut or shaped, just manicured and painted, and they did exactly as i asked. my nails look exactly like my reference picture. i'm not sure what the name of the woman who did my nails was, but she was fantastic! read more

Since I've moved here over two years ago I've been on a mission to find "my nail place". This is the best one yet. They got me in quickly, listened to my requests, and had a wide variety of colors to choose from. They lose a star for general hospitality. The lady was nice enough but not like make my day better nice. But the place did the job I needed it for. read more

Won't be returning. I know these people know how to do their job right, they just choose not to. They rush you out. 3 different people serviced me. I chose my colors and gave it to the First Lady, she painted my toes, completely forgot I wanted gel but I brushed it off. She then sent me to this guy, he shaped my nails, didn't clean them or anything else, then was about to paint my nails with regular polish and the 2nd lady stopped him and said I wanted shellac, at this point I'm thinking like just hurry up, she then puts a different shade other than I one I had already gave them, I told her it wasn't the right one so she removed it and had to start over. Ugh. I just wanted to get out, I'm not one to complain so I just paid my $80 and left unhappy. read more

This will definitely be the place I go to every time I'm in town. Being from out of town and only going to the same person for so many years, I was a bit skeptical about trying a different place especially out of town. I went in on a Friday around 1pm. There was a wedding party there before I arrived, but I still walked in and got sat at a table very quickly. I waited for the guy to finish someone up and then he immediately started to tend to me. I was a little scared especially going in to get a new style done on my nails. I showed him the picture and he immediately went to work. He didn't exactly what I asked and it didn't take any time at all. Especially since after he finished my nails I decided to get a pedicure, which he did himself and such a great job. I felt so relaxed in those amazing massage chairs, and the massage he gave me almost put me to sleep. I got a full-set and a pedicure, and spent less than $60 with a decent tip! I most definitely will be returning and telling people about this place, I've gotten so many compliments on my nails I just love it. Such a clean, and very friendly place trust me you will love it. read more
