Their selection is amazing and you can taste a very good coffee there as well. Their customer service is wonderful and she called a taxi driver to come and take me to the train station. My cousin who is living there about 40 years told me that a mom and her two sons run this business since the husband/father passed a while ago. Ambiance was so great and welcoming. Two thumbs up for PASTICCERIA FLEGO VERONA

The staff was friendly enough, and the space was big and bright and heavily decorated. But I wasn't as impressed by the drinks as I'd wanted to be. And also, on that morning, I had been craving a pistachio cornetto. It seemed they weren't not as popular in Verona as they are in Florence, so after a ton of Googling and searching through TripAdvisor and Yelp, I led my husband here. Of course, by the time we arrived, they had sold out of the pistachio cornetto. I was disappointed, but didn't want to waste an opportunity to try something of theirs, so we opted for a sit-down service and ordered a couple of coffees. I got the Viennese coffee and my husband got a regular caffe. I was going to order a pastry but figured there'd be enough sweet and sugar in my coffee that I didn't need to add a baked good on top of it. The Viennese coffee was good - I liked the hot/cold combo from the coffee and the whipped cream. It wasn't the best whipped cream I've ever had - once I got towards the bottom of the cup it had more congealed than melted into the hot liquid, but what I had before I got to that point was decent. My husband said his coffee was also good, but nothing special (this after we'd just come from what we thought was the best coffee shop in Verona, so I can't really blame him in his assessment.)

My husband and I came here two nights in a row while we were in Verona. The owner knows her food…read moreand wine! It isn't a typical restaurant. There is a huge variety of meats and cheeses available and a good selection of wine. It's more of a shop where customers can pick up items to take home, including something for dinner as fresh lasagna is made daily. There are approximately six tables outside and a couple of tables inside. The first night, we asked her to prepare a meat board and a cheese board as well as some olives. We ordered a bottle of Chianti Classico. Everything was presented beautifully and so delicious. We had five different types of meats: mortadella, prosciutto, veal, salumi, and roast beef. We also had a selection of five cheeses and I can't recall the names of all of them but they were all mouth watering. We had a selection of three types of olives. On our second night, we tried three different meats and cheeses, two types of olives, and their freshly made lasagna. Again, we were so happy with the food and the wine, a Valpolicello Ripasso Superior. Her service was excellent and the place was sparkling clean inside and out. We took two bottles of wine, a jar of artichoke hearts, and a jar of capers from her shop. What a delightful place. The two gentlemen behind the counter were friendly and informative and allowed us to try several items before we decided what to include on our meat and cheese boards. A true foodie experience in Verona!
