The pizzas cooked in their fires wood oven with one of the most perfectly cooked crusts was better than most places in the U.S. We got the guacamole to start and the three salsas that came with it were flavorful & complimented the guacamole perfectly. My favorite was the spicy oil! The open air courtyard was very cozy and the lady singing provided the perfect ambiance. Our server was friendly and always quick to refill our drinks. My only regret was not getting the lobster pizza (we plan to go back!).

I'm very used to the laid back serving approach here in Mexico, but alas I wasn't greeted warmly or even asked if I'd like to place an order. No big deal! i went to the front and ordered, and was then provided with a delicious salmon benedict, latte, sweetbread and delicious fresh-squeezed orange juice. All in all, the food was fabulous, but the service and feeling as I was being tolerated, not welcomed served soured my trip to this cafe. I'm unlikely to return, but i'm sure you'd be welcomed if you fit a certain aesthetic!

Good, not great. But that burger, oh the burger. This was a burger that burger wars are fought over. Big, delicious burger with guacamole, jalapeño and chipotle sauce. We loved it so much we spent most of two days in this shop relaxing and unwinding, getting ready for the long trip home. The atmosphere is very low key with lounge music softly playing over the speakers, some great cappuccino, and an excellent wifi connection. They were made just perfectly fluffy & light golden brown. Reason why I rated this place 4 star is because they do not have an a/c unit only ceiling fans :( so it was really hot at around 9 am other than that this is a must come. It was simple and delicious, space humble, and a place where locals come to hang out, have a beer and play some dominos. There are really only five tables outside with a small kitchen and main area is a convenience store. We ordered chicken tacos and pork fajitas. Really no complaints. The best part? Elisa, our server. She was born and raised on the island, and so was her mother, and her mother before. Her English was excellent. If you wanna feel a little like an island local, step away from the overpriced beach clubs, take a second to go inland, and have a beer and a snack at this little stop and take it all in.
