Photography, sculpture, ink drawings, let your imagination run wild. The other side to the artisans are the renting of art spaces and tiny business areas. They're often quite cost-effective, and a community of artisans has resulted in their various locations (and availability to enter during the pandemic is mixed and limited-- see their website). If art is beauty to you, you'll find something-- maybe many things-- you'll like. Be sure to check the website for pandemic restrictions before you go.

Five artists and titles have been identified in the project and additional art can be seen including Friendly Beasts' door which is painted, but not identified on the plaque mounted on the street side of the building. The first piece on the west side of the building is a brightly colored piece called "Unity is Community" by C D Culper. There are multiple human figures each only having one eye open. The faces also seem to have a second profile face obscuring half of the face directly looking at the viewer. The next piece is the "Entrance to Paradise" by Haider Ali. The small mural covers a doorway and has a beautiful mountain scenic painted. On the north end of the wall is the huge mural called "Wooden Wall of Life" by Adam Long. This piece stretches over several openings in the wall and is done in mostly blues and greens with images of twisted trees and roots that take on human form. Around to the north side of the building is another large mural with a rainbow of colors forming swirls for a background while additional objects seem to float in front. This is called "Sacred Journey" by Sacred Matthews. On the east side of the building by the parking lot is "Hive Mind" by Laura Brikmanis. It depicts a honeycomb with oversized bees crawling around. The art work is so precise that I am guessing she used a template/stencil to create the perfect geometry of the honeycomb grid and possibly on the bees too. It's a great collection of local talent and a way to check out multiple pieces all in one location. Note: To the north of the building is the Bluetip Billiards building that has a colorful mural of pool balls on the side and front. The owner of the business was unable to identify the artist when contacted. Review #2221

We had a 2 hour party for about 14 kids. She had a helper in as well. The studio at the Main squeeze was so spacious and well lit, Kids were placed at a safe distance on each table. She had them start out with decorating goody bags and then introduced tracing the outline, tracing each parts and then gently guiding them towards the painting the colors in. She and her helper did their best to help kids out with the tracing and outlining. She kept the kids very engaged and as the canvas dried she made an air dry clay unicorn horn with them. Of course every 6 year old wants to put various colored crystals on their unicorn horns! As everything was drying she did a small song/dance party for the kids. The goody bags were filled with candies and cute stuff. My daughter loved her birthday party and her friends enjoyed it as well. Highly recommend this place for any kind of art parties and seeing how patient of a teacher she is, if you are inclined towards art classes, she would be a great choice.

Not only will you enjoy browsing the multiple rooms of original handmade items, but you can also sign up for classes, or even just watch a video and make something on your own! They have the supplies for a lot of art/craft projects and you simply let them know whether you want to try it then or sign up for something. And if you aren't artistic on your own, there is no pressure to sign up...just browse through the wide range of items. There are paintings, photos, soaps, candles, wood items, jewelry, ceramics, glass items, etc. All items were made by artists in the region and seem to be affordably priced (especially compared to many of the galleries I've been to.) What the shop is interested is in giving the customer an experience, not just selling you an item. They can't out "Amazon" Amazon. But they can provide you a creative experience that Amazon can't. If we had more time, I think my wife and I might have taken a shot at making something. If you are interested, you might contact them ahead of time to get an idea of how to dress and get an idea of how long you should plan for making something or when the classes are. I did include a photo of a price list for some of the DIY projects with my review. If you are looking for a unique gift and/or want the option of making something yourself, plan on stopping by this shop. Review #2230
