Spontaneously decided to get a tattoo to represent my time in Palm Springs. Went to a seafood spot…read moreand seen this tattoo shop a few doors down. Went to give it a try. It was completely empty. Nice set up, very clean. I decided to get a Palm Tree. Daniel was the artist who assisted me. He showed me the Palm Tree designs he had, and he guesstimated a size that ended up being perfect. After the placement sample I decided to get it. It costed $150, definitely over priced from what I'm use to paying in LA, but I just bit the bullet. It took him about 10mins to get set up. Once he was all set up I headed over and he got down to business. During the actual tattoo I was skeptical because the results were not looking like the initial image I had agreed on BUT the aftermath was nice. Pain was like a 6/10. The shading is what hurt the most. I did ask him to lengthen the leaves a little because I didn't see the full vision. Daniel was personable, the shop played good music. Overall I do like the placement and the tattoo, I do have a few spots that needed more shading but I'm hoping after it heels it is less noticeable. Daniel let me know about aftercare, bandaged me up. The next day the area around the tattoo was super puffy. But I'm sure with time that will go down.

He's been in the business for some time now and right off you can tell he's not just your average "tattooer" like at normal shops but a real naturally gifted artist. All of his paintings are all around his Private Studio and you can feel the creative energy and passion he puts in his work while you're in the space. He can draw ANYTHING. I'm very blessed to have a piece done from someone who lives and breathes his work, a real Artist. He is a very professional, kind, and welcoming person. I had gone back and forth with Chris, the owner, who was one of the nicest and quickest to reply to me..in the entire area!! Back story, I actually had written a message to one tat shop and for some reason it sent to like five. Anyhow it was Bloodline that got back to me immediately and was also waaay less arrogant than the other places I dealt with. And I appreciate that, it's how I work! Get back to me, communicate professionally and don't be an ass. Too old for that shit! Anyhow, night of my appt. Now this is the first work I've gotten since I was 22(?). So I was excited, hoped it would go well, etc. Got to the shop. It was a little busy. But this is how it goes. It's art, not assembly line work. I waited quite a while. People complain on here a bit about that. Ya kinda have to go with it though. It's to be expected in certain arenas of life. So chalk it up as part of the experience and just enjoy getting to know the scene at your maybe new shop. I enjoyed it personally. Now I was seen by Fernando. He was absolutely the sweetest thing and the best person I could have asked for. Especially considering it had been a while since I had work done. It had been a long day. I had eaten a lot of edibles too. Haha And I felt totally comfortable with him. He's personable and an amazing artist. I will definitely get more work done by him and make that my excuse to visit the area. I'm going to add that I went through a total allergic coughing fit like a total dork and he was totally patient and dealt with my non stop cough attacks. So if you want someone who will make you feel at home in his chair and do amazing work, ask for Fernando! (Not dissin the others! I'm sure they're all fab!) I went in super…read moreafraid and not really knowing how to take care of my piercing and that was no problem at all, the guy at the desk when I walked in immediately gave me so much useful information and it helped so much. I even got a little booklet that has everything I need to know about my new piercing so I don't forget! Once I paid, the lady took me into a super cute room and talked me through the process. She did it quick and easy and she definitely knew what she was doing. I absolutely love this place and I will definitely be coming back!!!

Extremely accommodating, if you lose your initial jewelry like you lost a ball they'll replace it. I got an extremely fucked up septum piercing here with chip and his gorilla wife. Not only did he…read morepierce it extremely low, crooked, AND the ball fell off immediately which is further proof he was rushing and did not tighten it. He blamed me for "twitching". If you look at the piercing where he initially started before said twitch you will see that he already placed the piercing far too low. I got a lobe and septum. He never counted down nor did he talk to me before or after the piercing and I believe he used the same needle. I received NO care sheet or instructions on how to take care of my piercing. The whole experience was god awful. When I politely asked if it was supposed to be that low him and his wife said yes. After feeling like I fucked up my whole face in the car and crying I built the courage to kindly and discreetly inform them of this. They tell him that "I don't like it" and he says, "Well if she doesn't like it she can take it out." He was obviously very upset. mind you, during the piercing, he made me extremely uncomfortable and when I tried to hold my cousins hand he gave me no warning or time to. He yelled at me while holding the needle to my nose while I was fighting him that I'm not ready and I need to hold my cousins hand, he protests "No, No, No! You're not gonna hold her hand. No you're gonna mess me up!! Stop moving, I need you straight. No no no no holding nothing no" mind you I have a video of me sitting straight only moving my hand to get some support. I don't understand why somebody would continue to pierce my flesh with a needle in these conditions. or why he was rushing to do this. He made me extremely uncomfortable. So the ladies prep a chair to TAKE OUT MY FRESHLY PIERCED SEPTUM. IF YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL THEN YOU KNOW PIERCING 101 YOU NEVER TAKE A FRESHLY PIERCED PIERCING OUT. IT CAN CAUSE IRRUPT AND IRRATIONAL BLEEDING. He obviously had no idea what he was doing and his wife began to give me attitude because I said I wanted a refund at this point. (I still hadn't spoke to him directly he had his back turned to me.) His wife stands by his side (good for her, go down with your husband queen) saying they've done this for years. I could not believe their reaction to my complaint. She was smiling in my face repeating their idiotic solution to my problem which again i was "If you don't like it take it out we've been doing this for years." "It's not that I don't like it you guys messed up my face and now you're trying to do more damage when all I'm asking for is a refund. You can't take out a piercing so obviously you haven't been doing this for that long or he is not professional." "He's right there if you wanna tell him he's bad" she said that with a condescending face as if to strike fear in me. I turned to him and had pretty much the same argument with him except he gave me my refund and turned extremely pissy. I'm honestly surprised he didn't piss himself the way his neck vein came out. Overall terrible experience. I feel bad for the other people that have to work with this toxic couple. They obviously have a terrible relationship and are placing the weight of their troubles on their business. I should have been much more upset at these imbeciles for fucking up my face. There was a girl there who did my friends piercing before mine even though I arrived before her and I wish I had gotten her. Maybe if they weren't trying to rush through and had common sense they'd leave the job to the professionals. It's clear this place will suffer due to the managements clear ineptitude and hot headed service. Inshallah Karma does it's thing.
