They are encouraging and make it a fun event. They are engaged with every single person, and don't try to rush you. I've done a few events with them at Emory's on Silver Lake, and everyone just has a great time. For a non-artist, I'm pretty impressed with my results. It's neat they travel to different locations, so you can find something near you on a specific day and it's easy to sign up! And I LOVE that they do more than just canvas prints, so you can get more creative and not have all these prints and nowhere to put them! The wine bottle lamps are AWESOME.

It's nice that everyone was able to do their own booking and we could still get spots sitting next to each other. Some of us were lucky enough to find a 5$ off discount code as well. The class started and ended on time. Everything was set up when we arrived and aprons were provided. It did fill up though so perhaps it is important to register asap. There were two instructors who helped with everything we needed and demonstrated the painting in the front of the room. I liked that the class I took had the pretraced picture on the palette when I arrived. I had previously taken a wine and paint class with another company and it definitely does not look as good due to this. It was also nice that we had a variety of colors to choose from for our background so each picture looked individual. I am surprisingly happy with how mine turned out. A member of our group arrived very late and was still able to catch up and ended up with a great finished product. I think everyone was slightly disappointed that the class did not include any beer from the brewery, but we were able purchase and drink while we painted. One of the instructors ended up doing some waitressing for us as well, which was incredibly nice and allowed us to keep on painting with little distraction. They also did a few raffles for some small prizes which was a nice touch.

This is not in downtown Snohomish which may have lead to some of my initial reluctance and leaving it on my to do list for so long. This place has excellent parking and a few places to eat nearby if you need a meal before or after. They also sell a variety of beverages, including non alcohol and more than just wine. They offer much more than just your regular sip and paint classes, but those look fun too. I really like that they have such a variety, be sure to check the schedule to see what is coming up. Do be aware that things sell out frequently. I am thinking about checking out a chunky blanket class next and I can't wait to have more fun with resin. Just being in the studio is a great way to get inspired for additional classes to take. It's great with a group as everyone can pay separately and you can all still meet up to share a table. No having to stress if not everyone is able to commit and pay right away. Plus there is plenty of time to catch up before class or during the quiet times while you are working on your project. Everyone can go at their own pace and be as creative as they care to be. The instructor was super helpful. My friends were able to bring in some of their own flowers to add to their cutting board. They turned out so amazing, I wish I had pictures of theirs. It is important to note that some projects, like this one, will require someone to come back later and pick everything up. So glad to finally experience this and can't wait to go again.

Megan, who was the gal leading a glass art class there at the time and helping us, offered for us to come to the pottery class that was scheduled in a little over an hour from then. We said sure! She was so nice that she even offered for us to join the glass art class free of charge for the inconvenience! Megan was the Instructor for both the glass art and pottery classes we were a part of. She was very knowledgeable, always eager to offer help and suggestions, and very friendly. Me and my friend had a lot of fun making the glass art that we would not have originally done with out her kindness. The pottery class was very good as well, and she was a great instructor for that too. Me and my friend are both looking forward to how are pieces turn out! Highly recommend signing up for a class here and expressing your creativity!

I didn't even realize the studio wasn't technically open yet but they had summer camp for kids going on. Kim allowed me to sit and wait in the studio, which was very kind of her. Once it was time for class, I was the only adult surrounded by 6-7 children, which was not an issue at all. Kim was very helpful and descriptive throughout the entire pottery class which made it pretty easy to follow directions. Even with all the help from Kim, my bowl was less than pleasing to look at but it was fun to make! The studio was very clean and welcoming. They had relaxing music playing and they offer a variety of beginner classes. Pottery may not be for me but I never felt judged or less than because of my lack of skills. This was a pretty cool and im.glad I tried it!

We went for our wedding anniversary and spent about $150 on projects, upgrades and drinks. Photo of our unfinished projects attached. A week later we stopped by to pick up the finished projects, however mine was nowhere to be found. They looked for it and took down my information. I called twice a week for a whole month following, either speaking with different customer service people or leaving voicemails and emails. Nobody, even the owner, wants to take accountability for the lost / missing items or do anything to make it right. So incredibly frustrating and disappointing. This was a special creation to celebrate our anniversary and now I am left with bad memories and nothing else. All it could have taken was an apology and an offer to redo the project.

The full process took about 3 weeks total. Our pottery class was on March 29th, we came back to paint on April 12th, and then picked everything up on April 17th. It honestly felt like such a fun extended experience getting to come back and see everything through. The painting portion was super enjoyable too. They offer a variety of glazes, some classic colors included at no extra cost, plus a few specialty options for a small fee. My fiancé chose the "Safari" glaze (just $1 extra), which had these cool glass pieces that melt in the kiln and create such a unique pattern. Definitely worth trying if you want something a little different! Pickup was easy overall. My only small suggestion would be to clarify the pickup hours on the card that's handed out after painting. Google hours seem to reflect member hours, while the hours posted on the door are different. When I arrived, they technically weren't open yet (my mistake, I'm sorry!), but the person at the front desk was super kind and still helped me find my pieces, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, such a great experience from start to finish. Thank you so much Creative Hands Studio, we'll definitely be back!

I do wish there was a specific color in the smaller tip bottle for better line work. They were sweet and let us finish our work after the pottery painting open time was coming to a close. It was pretty pricy though. My total was $51.45 after tax & tip for a charger plate. They give you a card for when pick up is ready 1 week after. I confirmed we will be back in 1 week to pick up. This is quite far from where I live in Lake Stevens so it's a bit of a drive. I met my friend in Monroe and drove from there to go pick up our pottery - making it a fun girls day! We were SO excited. Upon picking up, she got hers fine but apparently mine had a chip in it and the lady was kind enough to fix it. But, with that said I had to wait even longer to pick up since she put it back in the kiln. She took my cell number and said she would text me when it is ready for pick up. Very frustrating as we drove ALL the way out there to pick up our pieces. And now I had to make ANOTHER trip out there to pick up. A waste of gas. They need to have a better communication service for when your piece is in the kiln vs. ready for pick up. This is not a system at all and I can see it could frustrate a lot of people in the future. I hope they fix this.

The teacher, Ms. Nikki, is truly phenomenal and has a special gift for connecting with kids and helping them believe in their own creativity the studio is warm, welcoming, and safe, and kids are encouraged to be themselves, try new things, and make bold creative choices without fear of "messing up." Class sizes are small, so our daughter gets plenty of individual attention and guidance while still enjoying a fun group atmosphere with other young artists. She comes home after each class proud of what she's created, using real art materials and techniques that make her feel like a "real artist." Over time, we've watched her confidence grow right along with her skills, from learning new mediums to experimenting with color, shading, and detail in ways she never would have tried on her own. She looks forward to every class, and we love seeing how much joy and calm art brings her at the start of a busy week. If you're looking for a place where your child can feel supported, inspired, and genuinely seen, I would highly recommend Art Spot Studio and Ms. Nikki.
