I was very nervous and unsure if there was any hope for me. I spent a total of 90 days in residential treatment and also lived in the sober living home. During my time here, I became well-educated about my addiction and learned essential life skills that I had never developed growing up. I discovered how to have real, meaningful conversations and how to live my life with rigorous honesty. The staff was incredibly accommodating, addressing my needs and helping to reassure my fears. The nutrition program played a crucial role in healing my body, and I can happily say that nearly four years later, I am still in recovery--thanks to this program and the amazing staff. If you're truly ready for change and tired of living in the same self-destructive patterns, I highly recommend this place.

I am very fortunate to have been connected to their program and, BTG not only saved my life, but changed my life. I have found a new freedom and a new happiness thanks to the clinicians and staff at BTG as they supported my first year in sobriety. They taught me the biopsychosocial-spiritual model of recovery and I continue to practice the coping mechanisms and life skills I learned through attending treatment at BTG. I am about 7 1/2 years sober at this point in my journey and I have several peers in recovery who went through BTG's program with similar time. While this is frustrating- the owners and departments work hard to improve and help the best way possible. Working there for almost 3 years, I know the staff cares greatly. My last appointment was supposed to be in person. But wouldn't you know it woke up with an extremely bad flu and case of pink eye. Which also caused me to be out of work for a week. So I called as soon as they opened and asked for a telephone appointment because of my condition. I was told they would reach out to the Dr and it should be ok. Later on in the day they called for copay like normal for a telephone appointment.. only the Dr never called. After that it was playing cat and mouse to get someone on the phone..I need my medication.. I've been off of it for months. But that doesn't seem to bother anyone there. When I did speak to someone finally they tried to flip it that it was my fault, they have a cancelation policy etc etc.. but why call for copay? Needless to say I am out of that copay. You would think with all the mental health issues going on in the world this kind of place would understand and do everything they could to stay on the up and up with their patients. Receiving bills for my copay when my payment was actually paid upon arrival and PRIOR to my treatment by the Therapist - this happened not just once but MULTIPLE times. #2. Several phone call messages left requesting return calls for setting appointments/request for Manager to call me were not returned timely, or not ever returned at all. This also happened several times. The first time resulted in a significant delay with my treatment getting started which threatened to impact the determination my Physician would need to make if surgery would be required. Again, my Therapist was excellent. The business operation side needs improvement.
