Ate here twice on a recent trip. Excellent food choices, immense servings. Friendly service. Shrimp tacos first time, Cali chicken sandwich second day. Chipotle mayo slightly on the sweet side. Seasoned green beans best side. Carry out til 9...but we had to call when arriving for pickup after 8:30. Definitely will go there again next trip to the region.

I woke up in the middle of nowhere, tx hungry for lunch. This is an odd place. It's a pole bar on the outside and tries to be a swanky supper club on the inside in a contemporary West Texas way without that stupidly cowboy rancher tourist stuff on the walls. Open only on weekdays. Loud inside and blaring stupid house music. But the service and food was great. No specials, so old folks need not apply. The bar was well stocked including a $300 tequila! Salsa was thick, not runny. Chicken fried steak was huge. I would have rated this highly but I have a problem with giving places great reviews when they chicken out charging more for using a credit card without reducing prices

Sorry! I ate almost all of it!!

I didn't know this restaurant existed until we drove by yesterday, so we made a u-turn and decided to give it a try and I was so happy we did. This may be my new favorite place to eat in Big Spring. The atmosphere was very nice, the service was great and so was the food. The menu was large with something for everyone. I got the Cajun pasta, it was a large portion and I had enough to take home and eat again. My husband had the fajitas and they came out sizzling, just how I like. Everyone came home happy, even the kids. We will definitely be going back!

For Big Spring, this is the cat's meow! Good variety in menu, decent quality food ingredients, good service. While it's nice the entrees come with 2 sides- they're almost entirely potato or beans. Would not recommend the French fries- unfortunately quite soggy. Private parking lot in front. Easy to get to, right off FM700. Hard to believe Crispy's Cafe used to be here!

Great food. Had the chicken fried steak with mixed veggies. Plenty of food. More than I could eat. Best restaurant in Big Spring.

But we will be back since the ambiance is a cut above the competition and the food was good too. The chicken fried chicken was very good, made with breast that was moist and tender and a generous serving of cream gravy.

From the start, the service set the tone. My server had that perfect balance--attentive, helpful, and genuinely engaged without hovering. It made the evening feel relaxed and easy. I started with the Parmesan fries because, honestly, who skips Parmesan fries when they're on the menu? They were crisp, flavorful, and just indulgent enough to feel like the right decision. For the entrée, I ordered the pan-seared salmon, and it did not disappoint. It was cooked to perfection, and the seasoning complemented the fish beautifully. The risotto was creamy and well-prepared, and the green beans had that fresh, crisp texture that tied everything together. The atmosphere added to the experience. Being set inside a beautifully restored historic property gave the place character. It felt like a spot where locals gathered--there was a familiarity in the room that made it feel like the place to see and be seen. And while it didn't hurt to walk in alongside the head of the local hospital (pure coincidence, and no, I wasn't a patient), the restaurant stood on its own merit. If you're driving through Big Spring or staying the night, Settles Grill was well worth the stop. It's a place where you don't "settle" at all--you simply have a very good meal in a setting that feels both welcoming and established.
