I had a lot of fears about wisdom tooth pulled, but they did everything to calm me down and make it a good I highly recommend this place. I'm going back for deep cleaning. I stopped into Arroyo dental yesterday to inquire about bringing my mother-in-law in. I told him that she's in a assisted living that she had dementia and that we have power of attorney over her medical decisions. I don't know if the guy working the front office heard me or didn't hear me when I said not to discuss any treatment plan with her because she will immediately say that she's not gonna do it. I made the appointment for today, brought my mother-in-law in and the guy upfront wouldn't allow me to go into the back to even meet the dentist which I found strange but OK. And then he called me in the back to discuss the treatment plan right in front of my mother-in-law. And then he started telling us about how he's got power of attorney over his mother so he understands. He doesn't understand. I asked him not to discuss the treatment with her and he went ahead and did it anyway then he told me he didn't like where this was headed so he sent me the x-rays that they did today and I'll find another dentist when you're dealing with older people that have dementia you can't assume that you can discuss things with them. He asked me for the power of attorney. I sent it to him immediately, he should've discussed everything with me out of air shot of my mother-in-law. He's in the business of making people feel good unfortunately he did the exact opposite. He sent my mother-in-law back about six months. It took me an hour to calm her down enough to where I could get her out of the car and back into her assisted living and she's still freaking out. What a really crappy way to handle your business. OK, I'm ready for your reply to tell me how you did everything perfect. read more

Came back for my annual teeth cleaning. I've always had a great experience here and will continue to come here until somehow I can't. The whole team there is always sweet, compassionate and straight to the point. I've been to many many dentists in my life and I've never had one like this man. You can tell he's been doing this a very long time and knows what he's doing and isn't trying to just make more money. He actually cares. A lot of dentists are almost like car salesman. Great dentist and care. This is not a dentist who just wants to make money and tries to get you more work you don't need. First time this year going here. I got 2 crowns and a filling and it was a great price with my insurance. Usually just 1 crowns is an arm and leg. Very pleased with the results and the care. I don't mind going to the dentist now. The dentist is a sweet man. Kinda like a Ukrainian Anthony Hopkins. The younger man up front is very nice and knowledgeable and explains everything and is up front with everything. No sneaky stuff happening here. I've been to many many dentists over the years and you can tell they always have another agenda. Not this one. I'll be back in January for a cleaning. read more

When you come here you know you are in great hands. I came here to get a root canal, crown, along with some fillings and cleaning and i had an amazing experience. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful, the whole location was super clean and usually i have a lot of dental anxiety but the doc worked very well to accommodate me. I called at least 10 other dentists before finding them and everywhere else the prices were %15-%25 higher than what i got here. This dentist is awesome. I never had any major issues besides cavities or broken fillings. He makes the experience so simple and almost painless. If he performs any treatment, I never have a problem getting numb, where as my old dentist had problems getting me numb and treatment was excruciatingly painful. There's no dumb blondes working the front, it's all handled by one guy I think it's his son because they look alike. They take my dental insurance and charge little to nothing in co-pays. I was referred to this place by a coworker a few years back and I have been thoroughly impressed ever since. After my first visit, I got some second opinions & quotes before doing any procedures. Upon my research, I was so amazed by how inexpensive Arroyo Dental was in comparison to others. Other places quoted me at least double and sometimes quadruple - for the same exact work and materials! Years later, I can vouch for the quality of work. Most importantly, I trust them. They are kind of like that auto mechanic who's also a personal friend - they want help you get back on the road as quickly and as efficiently as possible. Went in here based on the reviews, and I'm glad I did! I brought in treatment plans from 2 other dentists. One of which said I had 14 cavities in my mouth! Dr. K looked at my treatment plans and then at my mouth. Told me flat out that those guys only want money. I only had 2 fillings that needed to be done (which he did them white, per my request!) and 1 wisdom tooth extraction. I was terrified of that extraction, but he got it out in 3 seconds with zero pressure or pain. Office manager is great and rest of staff is super friendly. read more

I went in to see Dr. K for the first time this past Saturday. I had broken off the cap on my front tooth. It was 2 pm and I had plans to see "Wicked" that night. I took my kids here then later there dad. We were very please with our services. I made new appointment for all of us now that's it's been over 6 months but then had to make one of the appointments for later in the day or a new day if none were available same day. I made the appointments Wednesday 4:50pm and called the next morning Thursday at 8:15. The guy gets cocky with me that I should have called earlier!!?! Really?! How much earlier could I have called?
