I sat at the bar where Mae very thoughtfully helped me navigate through the extensive been menu. I was very impressed at the selections! She brought me three tasters and, honestly, each of them were fantastic. It seems fitting that I chose a pint of Conflict of Interest in the midst of a difficult decision! The food menu is just as impressive. I'm certain anyone can find a favorite. I ordered the blackened chicken gnocchi and found myself in flavor heaven. I've made and eaten a lot of gnocchi and this is easily the best I've ever had. Mae agreed with me and suggested it's because there's cheese in those potato pillows. I dunno but I would eat this every day if I could. If I thought they'd keep, I'd buy extra and take some home. Meanwhile the bar crowd was friendly and chatty as we watched soccer on a few TVs. It was pretty chill, everyone just kicking back with great beer, tasty food and a worldwide sporting event. That said, I'm not waiting four years to come back!

Sat outside most recently and brought our toddler. She got to run around and explore. The fineapple cider on draft is my favorite and so refreshing. Menu wise has so many options. So impressed with all of their drinks they make in house. Came another time for dinner with a friend to catch up. A large group took over the dining room. Stayed way past they were done with their food and drink. They stayed 5 hours and disrupted the restaurant. Our waitress gave us a small discount for how annoying these people were. She said staff were even over them.

Having heard good things about their Burgers I opted to go with their Classic Cheeseburger and fries for $15 and two of their house margarita's which were the drink of the day on Tuesdays for $5 apiece. Realtive to the burger, it was quite large at 1/2 lb and definately a two hander. It was well made, quite juicy, with fresh veggies and very very tasty. The fries were well made as well with a nice crunchy texture and quite tasty in their own right. Lastly my two Margarita's very well made and oh so good where I had only planned on getting one but opted for two after the first sip. NICE! At $5 a piece this was an absolute steal! Relative to facility and staff, the restaurant is visually very appealing with vibrant Irish accents, neon sign's everywhere and TV's scattered to allow you to watch the big game of the day while enjoying your meal. The decor defiantely adds a lot to the dining experience. Staff was very friendly with great follow up throughout. Overall this is a great bar/restaurant whose reputation is well deserved. I definately will be returning in the near future, probably on a Tuesday, so I can get some more of those tasty margarita's. :)

My salad was filled with super fresh ingredients and the chunky blue cheese dressing was really flavorful and filled with chunks of real blue cheese. I ordered a margarita and was asked if I wanted a flavor. I asked for mango but then was told later they were out. So I went with blackberry. The drink was fine. It wasn't the best margarita I've ever had though. It's called O Grizzly's and there's some Oakland University nods inside. There were quite a few patrons wearing Golden Grizzly gear, there was a basketball game that night. But the place still feels gimmicky to me. A way to market Oakland University people and get them in the door but doesn't do much else after that. There really doesn't feel like a true affiliation with the University. Bathrooms are single stall and felt clean. The menu is not too overwhelming. Went with the blooming onions and they were absolutely delicious. Hot onions with a crunchy batter and a yummy dipping sauce. I went with the Tandoor wings as it was really played up on their menu. I got medium for sauce. My husband got chicken tenders and we ordered a side of fries. I was disappointed with my chicken wings. They were a good size but the skin was rubbery and some of the chicken tasted chewy. Also, the sauce was very runny, didn't really stick to the chicken wings. I am not sure where the Tandoor part was to the wing? They gave about five half sticks sliced in half of celery for nine wings, not enough at all. I asked for blue cheese but was given ranch. The fries were thicker, cut, and swirly, which are interesting and they had a good seasoning on them. Our waitress was friendly and decently attentive, considering she had to serve every table and run the bar. Food was coming out decently fast. But getting our check and cashing out took a while. It got to the point where my husband just went up to the bar where she was so we could cash out.

My wife appreciated the large size of the fajitas and salad but also found the fajitas unusually spicy. Sadly, the Nashville Chicken didn't really taste at all like Nashville Chicken. It wasn't bad but it just wasn't what was expected. The fries were good and we like the seasoning. But that's about the highlight of the night. I think this really will be the last time for me.
