I was told that oil had gotten from the transmittion into the Clutch assembly where the Belt drive resides. And that the oil used which was Yamalube oil caused the issue and that Yamaha would not honor the warranty. Not sure if this was the dealship or corporate Yamaha which doesn't matter to me. A vehicle within the first of purchase and not covered under warranty unsat, so I figured people need to understand who they are dealing with. As the repairs have not been made yet, I will return and post the results of that. If this is how they treat their customers I am crossing my fingers.
