I waited too…read morelong to address a skin concern on top of my ear, and to my surprise, I was diagnosed with Basal cell carcinoma... WTF!!!! The front office staff, Marci and Tiffany, were welcoming and transparent about pricing through my insurance. Emily, Lena, and Davina (Medical Staff) provided exceptional support, explaining everything in detail and easing my worries. I'm only 37 and I never thought I would have skin cancer, but they calmed me down. Dr. Hou and her team performed MOHS surgery right in the office just 10 days after my first visit, taking the minimum amount of skin as possible to successfully remove the cancer. They also took care of all the necessary forms and even provided letters to my employer, making the process seamless. When it comes to scary skin stuff, this is the only place I trust! I just can't see how someone can leave a bad review! I received a ton of skin care and sun care swag, and by my second appointment the whole team knew me by name and came in to check on me. BTW they call and confirm your appointment date and time at least twice leading up to any appointment so I don't see how anyone could miss/forget their appointment. Little divot in the ole ear but super blessed to have found these people! THANK YOU DR. HOU AND TEAM!

I was brought into a room where Dr. Kang discussed which treatments would benefit my skin and target my areas of concerns, and her nurse, Vivian, was the one who treated me. I was recommended the Ultra Clear laser for facial rejuvenation and the Q switched laser for the brown spots on my cheeks and I was able to get treatment done that same day. We even went ahead with a little Botox on my forehead and glabella. Vivian did an amazing job as I felt minimal pain during all the treatments and I've been loving my results. My skin looks more even and fresh and forehead lines aren't as noticeable. I highly recommend going to Prestige to see Dr. Kang and Vivian and I cannot wait to go back for more!

I think I found my life long Derm!…read more Dr. Kang and her team are so nice and welcoming. My experience there felt very personable. Quite honestly, Ive had some not so good experiences at other places around my area in SGV because I felt like I was treated like a money customer rather than a patient. Im so glad I found her. It's worth driving so far for! Dr. Kang and her team are very organized and thorough. They listened to every concern and I had and didnt upsell me anything. No pressures at all. I felt very comfortable. I was so impressed they presented with me a quotation for the recommended procedures and information for aftercare right away before I made my decision so I know what to expect. SO PROFESSIONAL! I would recommend tho that they add something like "Downtime" and "Recovery Time" on the literature I received so I know how to plan out the procedures in the future (In case skin sheds or what not after procedure so I can plan off time from work). That being said, I got one of the recommended procedures done on the same day because I know there was little downtime. Bonus! I told my friend about my experience and come to find out she also had an appointment booked next week already :)

If you need a knowledgeable dermatologist who can get you in ASAP, this is the place to go. I had a…read moresevere skin reaction. I went to the ER first. They did what they could but told me to contact a dermatologist for further treatment and diagnosis. After multiple offices told me I'd have to wait weeks to months, Renu Dermatology was able to get me in the same week. Dr. Nguyen performed a punch biopsy on my skin, thoroughly explained the lab results to me, and provided the proper treatment. I also got treated here for my eczema. He prescribed medication that gave me the clearest skin I've seen in YEARS. I was finally able to wear clothes I couldn't wear before due to insecurity about my skin's appearance. I eventually ran out of the medication, so my eczema has been gradually returning. I plan on scheduling another appointment. I previously went to my primary care doctor for help with my eczema, but I always felt rushed, had to wait a long time despite having an appointment, the staff weren't very knowledgeable, were rude, the treatment was ineffective, and I was referred to a dermatologist with poor reviews. It ruined my view of seeking dermatologic care until I found Renu Dermatology. Dr. Nguyen and Nurse Vanessa are amazing. Nurse Vanessa was always in the room during my appointments, which made me feel more comfortable. They take their time with appointments, are gentle, listen carefully, and explain things thoroughly. They're punctual as well--I never experienced long wait times here. The office is located in the Martin Luther Medical Plaza with plenty of parking. Many of the offices look similar, so make sure to read the signs carefully.

I'm giving Dr. Park five stars mostly based off of him. His office can sometimes be busy and you…read moremay have to wait a little while to be seen but he is a good doctor. He will be honest and upfront with how he feels about whatever you have going on with your skin. He caught some skin cancer that a previous dermatologist had pretty much laughed me out of his office when I went to see him about it. Dr. Park knew immediately that it was cancer. He will tell you that you can't say anything for certain with skin conditions, but he was pretty spot on with what he thought about the two areas I had biopsied. He referred me to an amazing Mohs procedure doctor. I am a week or so post procedure and doing well. I probably wouldn't be saying that if I had not seen Dr. Park and gotten a great referral. I will also say that the basal carcinoma I had on almost the tip of my nose was fairly large. Although Dr. Park is not a surgeon, he is pretty damn good with a scalpel. When I had my Mohs procedure, the nurse had to have me point out the area since Dr. Park did such a great job of cleanly removing the surface layer of the cancer. It was almost unnoticeable after that. The only negatives to his office are the front office staff seems like they may get a little mixed up from time to time but they are very sweet and try their very best. Things happen in a busy office and Dr. Park's office can be very busy. He is good at what he does so he should have a busy office. The couple things I had an issue with in the front office were that I was scheduled an appointment on one of those smaller holidays that most people don't have off that also turned out to be a holiday for them so I showed up for an appointment on a day they were closed. That should not have happened. Also, I had them mail me something, but it never arrived. I can't say for certain that it was them and not the postal service in my area since I have had issues with them in the past.

The doctor was in rush, just looked at the arm for less than a minute and when my mom suggested and asked if a biopsy can be done, he just said sure and walked out of the office. That was it. He did not explain what this possibly could be. He did not explain whether this was something to be worried about or if this was just something benign. He did not talk at all. It's like as if the guy has nothing in his brain. The worst doctor ever! The staff in the office are nice but other than that, this doctor needs to get his license taken away. This guy does not have the competency to own a doctor's office. Do not go here!

The two products he told me about were AMAZING. Definitely helped the blemishes on the sides of my face clear up within months. Now being in 2020 I decided to ask about the facials. She is so sweet and informative when it comes to my questions about micro. Being that I've only got two so far I'm already seeing my skin looking so much better than it did. This place has truly gone downhill... I loved it when Dr. Reena Sampat was there. I had eczema,…read morealopecia, and acne and she was able to take care of everything. When my alopecia, eczema, and acne were under control, I would go there annually to get a refill of my medications and the face wash they sell. I have since moved to Chicago, but would go annually when I visit my parents in the area so I can get the face wash and my maintenance prescriptions. So I LOVED this place and would always recommend people to come here. The past two years have been weird. The staff has become rude. My last visit sometime in December 2025, I made clear that I was just visiting from Chicago, but they marked me for a check up a month after. They refused to refill my medications until I see the doctor again. They also said that the face wash can only be refilled within 6 months.... Wasn't notified of that before... and I would do annual visits in the past. Anyways, now that I'm back in California with an even better insurance, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. No longer recommending this place to people. I found one nearby that people in Reddit recommended and has 4.9 stars. Wanted to stay at this practice for the compounded sulfacetemide face wash, but the new rules and shitty staff are a turn off. I can get the prescriptions elsewhere and ask the new derma for a face wash recommendation,
