Every time I went in for meetings or walk-throughs, the place smelled awful of the floors were dirty and it was always sticky or left with decorations from previous events. It never once looked clean or ready, no matter how close it was to my wedding date. On the day of my wedding, the owner actually snapped at me because she forgot the time I had told her weeks prior. She was rude and dismissive, as if I was inconveniencing her at my own event. To make things worse, the curtain pole in the venue fell on my photographer during cocktail hour when all my guests were there, they had to help bring it back up. So embarrassing. There were also scratches, holes, and marks all over the walls, but she acted like the place was some kind of luxury ballroom when in reality it's just a small hall in a plaza in Miami Gardens. The final straw was her refusing to return my security deposit -- claiming it was because I didn't sweep up my flower petals after the ceremony. I specifically asked her if I needed to sweep, and she told me no. But after the event, she completely changed her story. Her attitude toward customers is beyond unprofessional -- rude, greedy, and disrespectful. It's clear she only cares about getting a quick buck, not about providing a decent experience or treating people with respect. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. This place is not worth the money, the attitude, or the headache. She'll keep every penny you send her, she has no intentions of returning the deposit. She obviously needs it more than we do. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Stay FAR , FAR, FAR away!!!!!!!
