Jessica, the owner, is not only sweet but so amazingly talented. I showed her a picture of what I was going for and described to her a few flowers that I really liked, and she absolutely nailed it. I had a fall wedding and she included rich plums and burgundy flowers along with some burnt orange, vibrant green and cream roses. It was honestly the most beautiful flower arranging I have ever seen. Her service was prompt and professional and she allowed us to come in and bother her on numerous occasions. Her prices were more than reasonable for the quality of work, and she made every effort to accommodate our wants and needs (she sourced some birch baskets for the centrepieces and special roses just for me). I would 100% use Quince in any occasion where you need florals. You will NOT be disappointed.

I was highly disappointed when I got these flowers .. the roses were just placed in the vase THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO CREATIVITY USED AT ALL!!!! now I've done arrangements for events and I ended up fixing this one after .. added some 4 dollar baby's breath from safeway .. trimmed some of the roses so they were different heights and also arranged the colours nicely ... Their customer service is good tho .. she called and made arrangements for me to pick them up because she couldn't get into my building and she stilled walked them home for me because it was heavy and I had a stroller and other stuff .. I mean my fiance technically did pay for delivery but it was still nice of her .. Also some of the red roses were dying very dark .. they didn't even take the time to pick the dead petals off .. Honestly this bouquet was 50 plus delivery and tax .. don't waste ur money go elsewhere ... safeway at new west station sells nicer arrangements in their fridge section and they also have vases for sale .. I'm sure for 50 bucks you could get a WAAAAAY better arrangement that actually utilizes some creativity and effort with a vase and the person who receives it will be happier .. Don't get me wrong I am very greatful that my fiance put the effort in .. I just feel like he wasted his money because the arrangement was such a disappointment and I ended up fixing it myself ... The two stars are strictly for customer service ... actual product gets 0 stars ...

WILTED FLOWERS/NOT $65 worth of flowers Very disappointed in…read morethe bouquet I bought. I paid $65 for one of their small designer graduation bouquets. At time of ordering and paying the customer service rep said the flowers might not be exactly like the photo as they use seasonal flowers. I felt they over promised with false advertising and completely under delivered. The photo on the left is from their website and the photo on the right is what I received. Flowers, especially the roses were wilted, edges were brown, and the accent flowers were the cheap kind. I should have bought a dozen roses from Costco instead of using this florist.

Passing through Lonsdale Quay or on your way back to the seabus terminal, the no doors format of Margitta's flowers puts on full display the fresh and vividly colorful flowers and bouquet arrangements that this shop has to offer. I particularly love this store as they carry the stunning Bird of Paradise stems and a rotating selection of Orchid stems depending on what they receive at the warehouse auction, among other more generally seen flowers. You'll also see Heliconia, Rose, Lily, Sunflowers and Freesias to name a few, all displayed in a beautiful floor to ceiling arrangement making it seem like a walk through a jungle. Throughout the year Margitta's will stock cymbidiums in small ($10-11 per stem) and large format ($1.50 per bud), mokara, oncidium, phalenopsis, paphiopedilum and dendrobium orchids if you're an orchid fanatic like myself. The dendrobium stem ($4) I got lasted me from January to April, so it was quite the surprise for me and gave me months of blooms. Whether you're here to purchase a single stem to liven up a living space, or assembling a bouquet for a special event, Margitta and her staff always positively greet their customers and offer knowledgeable advice on the different blooms and their availability. For inquiries before heading to the store, they always pick up the phone and are very knowledgeable about their inventory.
