If I got to eat this every day, I could almost be a vegetarian. Almost. The falafel hummus haloumi sandwich satisfied me in ways balls, of the chickpea variety, have never done before. I got here at 2pm on a Monday and there was a small line waiting to order. When there is a line past normal lunch time on a random weekday, you know this place has the good stuff. Despite the rush, food came out quickly in ~10 minutes. It was a medley of flavors in every bite - the creaminess of hummus, the crunch of the falafel, the soft chewiness of the holoumi cheese. They pack in the pita with an array of other goodies - what my palette made out to be slightly fermented, deliciously tangy vegetables. The taste was on par or better than meat kebabs I've had in Frankfurt (which I also like). Great flavors. I will definitely be back! read more

Came here on a weekend afternoon about 15 minutes before opening (at 2PM!, so late). Got a falafel hummus halloumi spicy sandwich, came out fresh and delicious. Sauce could've been more flavorful (or maybe just more of it), falafels were on-point. So flavorful in themselves, crunchy on the outside, really delicious. €6.50 for it wasn't too bad, didn't have to wait too long. read more

I am fortunate to have an apartment within 300 meters of two of their locations and, this is the original one. I was told by some locals that this was the place to go for falafel. To be honest I had low expectations however having walked by this place a few times and seeing the queue of people eating here had to try it. By god this place is good. After my first few bites of the Falafel, Hummus and Haloumi wrap my mouth was exploding with flavours and textures and it was divine. I used to have a favourite place in the Viktualinemarkt in the Munich for Falafel but this place, is something else altogether. For under €7 you get a good meal as the pita sandwich is filled with beautiful crunchy vegetable salad, falafel, chili sauce and haloumi.....yummmmmmmm !!! Damn. This place is good. When I first moved here, my food options were severely limited as I had absolutely no clue where to go and had no desire to eat anymore bratwurst or schnitzel. Then one day, my colleagues introduced me to Aroma. "What is this place?" I asked. "Falafel wraps," they replied. I was sold. We bought our wraps to go. I opted for the falafel and schwarma wrap with spicy red sauce, no onions. This the first meal that I really enjoyed in this city. I didn't care that it was essentially a sandwich. I didn't care that eating onsite meant sitting/standing at an outdoor table, chowing down on this wonderful bread pocket filled with lettuce/cabbage, schwarma, and falafel. It was warm, it was crunchy, it was spicy, and it was flavorful. Service, naturally, is brisk, though not necessarily rude. It is a kiosk, after all. Note: Those with sensitive stomachs may want to take a couple of Gas-X's or Bean-O or the like before consuming this deliciousness. Absolutely amazing!! This place is kind of set up like a food truck in a street corner in what appears to be a nicer part of Frankfurt. Came here with my mom for dinner on a Sunday night. The place was packed with people eating (they had a few tables set up around the restaurant) or ordering food. We ordered the falafel hummus sandwich with all of the sauces and the vegetable platter. The falafel was unbelievably good. Probably the best that I've ever had. The falafel was perfectly green and soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Freshly made. The sauces were a perfect complement to the falafel. The vegetarian platter was loaded and could probably serve 2 people. It came with a basket of pita bread as well. read more

The call it "probably best falafel in town". I say it is. As I've tasted a lot of falafel in and around Frankfurt, I am proud to announce the winner :) Location: It is somehow central for Frankfurt. But you would never expect this location to have such awesome food. You cant find this good falafels in a fancy restaurant or a new hippster bar. It looks like a shed from the outside, but it so good :) If you are a local, you have seen a lot of people hanging around on the street and the place before this "shed". Order something and you will know the reason why. Service: Totally friendly and fast. It took me a maximum of 10 minutes in the rush hour of fast food (friday evening) to the my take away order. I tried Aroma today after recommendations from a friend. I was blown away by how good their falfal tasted. I generally am not a fan of falfal because it tends to be dry but this was perfection. The hummus, salad, pickeled vegetables were all so good. I highly recommend coming here if you are visiting Frankfurt. read more

This place is often packed... it's a kiosk. You order, pay and get a number. There are bar tables in front which. But often people even sit on the side walk. It has a good reputation and since there are no real alternatives in Frankfurt, this is the place to go to if you into falafels. Unfortunately I am not convinced of its quality. You always get big big portions, which a lot of sauce on everything in order to have this one special taste...but to me this is too much. If foods really tastes good you do not need all the convenient sauces to make up for the rest and I doubt they are vegan. Everything tastes somehow similar, mainly because of the sauces . If you like that fast food falafel taste, you will love it, but again, if you have ever been to the Emirates or countries where you can eat homemade falafels which fresh sauce and salads you can only be disappointed. Whenever I came here my stomach was busy for hours... this food makes me tired. No idea what oil they use, do not want to know what kind of sauces... Something I really do not like is the lack of hygiene. Everything looks greasy. Even if you work in the kitchen all day long, you not have to have this raggle-taggle look. Still I would recommend this place if you are into that street food falafel taste as there are not many alternatives in Frankfurt. But do not expect any clean, healthy food here. read more

The best Falafel in town! I love this place because they have great veggie selection. Also, inexpensive at all.

What a great place of falafel and shawarma! My girlfriend and I ate two hugh plates with various kinds of delicious food. We had falafel, humus, shawarma and salad on it and it was great. The location is really not the optimal one for such delicious food, we were not expecting this high quality. During dinner hours you can easily wait up to 40 minutes to get your food, but it is worth it! Cheers read more

If there were 1/2 stars i would give it 4 and 1/2. Super Yummyyyy. I really wanted to have the platters i have seen online, but we arrived at 8:03pm and they stop serving them at 8PM. the rest is great. Don't expect luxury. this is eat on the street kind a place. Great falafels, hummus, get the falafel teller to eat in or take away, and watch out it is closed on Saturdays. It's a shame they don't do grilled aubergines or more adventurous salad options, but it is still one of the best quick snacks in Frankfurt. read more

Some of the best food I've ever eaten out of a tiny kiosk and the closest thing to London kebab you'll find in this part of Germany. All of their ingredients: schawarma, falafels, and hummus is excellent quality and fantastic value. read more

As a connoisseur of exotic delicacies of the African nations, also the middle east ones, and also Asia and East Asia, including South Asia, I was very hungry for Amazonian boiled spiders when I was walking around in Frankfurt. "Where is the best boiled spiders" I asked all the German people of Frankfurt. I asked 47 of them. 43 said, "Oy vey, go to Aroma! It smells like spider legs and it only costs one hundred Euros!" I ate 24 spider legs but it was approaching closing time, so they ran out. The owner, Pamplo Campfartsi (at least that is what it sounded like. I am deaf), called his grandmother and asked if her house had some spiders, since she never cleaned the place. That is an amazing customer service! I fell upon my knees and worshipped our Lord and Saviour Jesus for delivering me of the hunger of spider legs. An old lady sneered at me in the restaurant so I threw an iced coffee at her face and that made her shut up. She had a swastika tattoo on her stomach and she was at least 80 years old and over 386 pounds. She was a Romanian. That explains her bad smell. I screamed each time I saw her. Afterwards I was still hungry since spiders are so tiny, so I ordered candy and cakes. They were delicious and I am a diabetic so I went into a coma and vomited everywhere but the medics came and gave me a jab and thank the Lord for Aroma. read more
