What makes Aroma stand out from other coffee shop chains is its selection of actual meals - all-day breakfast items (omelettes, shakshouka, classic and power breakfasts which consist of actual fried eggs), grain bowls, salads, and sandwiches. The size and quality of their meals are comparable to those found in actual sit-down restaurants, using fresh ingredients and cooked in-house (unlike some other chains which rely on third-party providers to assemble mediocre salads in another location and have them shipped).
I tried the Pumpkin Cauliflower Soup (seasonal item in the fall), and the portion was a lot bigger than I expected. I thought it would be akin to most other pumpkin soups (blended and smooth in texture), but this actually had beans, chunks of cauliflower, and chives in the soup. What a nice surprise. I liked the chunky aspect of the soup, but it also had a 'kick'.
You can get the sandwiches as full or half, white or whole wheat bread, toasted or non-toasted. I opted for a half sandwich and it was enough for a meal. The ingredients were nice and fresh. The soup and salad combo = a hearty and delicous meal.
This location was quite spacious and had lots of tables and seatings, both inside Aroma and outside in the atrium area. Service was pretty fast. read more
