When you go to a spa, you automatically have access to all the spa's amenities. This includes tubs and saunas. There are no spa amenities here. If you are paying premium prices, you would expect a premium experience. Keep looking because you are not going to get that at Betty's Day Spa. To make matters worse, their customer service is horrendous! One would think that, if there is a medical emergency, they would allow you to at the very least reschedule your services. They do not. Thank goodness I do not live here and can go back to my normal masseuse next week.

The most recent visit was for a facial with Emily, who's an absolute expert in her craft. Shoutout Capricorns! During your session they assess your skin and let you know what they are doing and using. It's so calming that I often find myself falling asleep by the end of it. They have private tubs you can reserve for an hour if that's more the vibe you are feeling, but you can also use the hot tub before or after your appointment to soak which is so relaxing. I do appreciate the touches of tea kettles and tea in the lounge area that are complimentary. They also have snacks and other things if you are there longer. Remedy is such a sweet serene spot right in the university area that you'd kinda forget where you are because it's so peaceful while experiencing it, and that's why I can't recommend Emily and Remedy enough.

They refuse to entertain it, saying it's not their policy and I should have spoken up at the time. Spoken up about...what? Should I have had a sixth sense to know my nails were to chip? Come on. They did mention they have a 2 week guarantee, however being from Chicago and visiting, this is obviously not feasible. So I guess go here any expect poor quality but if you can go back every day?
