I tried two different clinics, each with their own horror story, I had yet to actually see a doctor. I made my appointment about a month out. I had requested the first appointment of the day, but was advised that those were booked out far in advance. Bummer. The next day the clinic called me to reschedule - and low and behold I could get the first appointment. So, the day before the day, I was called like normal to be reminded of my appointment and could I please arrive early. No problem. I get there at 7:15. They take me back for my weight, blood pressure, etc. They take me to the room and advise me to stay dressed because since I am a new patient the doctor will want to talk to me first. No problem. I it now 7:40 or so. I wait. And, wait. a little after 8:00 the nurse that took my vitals advises me that the doctor "is on her way" and that it should be only a few more minutes. No problem. Now, it is 8:15, no doctor. The nurse comes back again, and "the doctor is on her way, she is very sorry that she is stuck in traffic". I'm thinking, "well, you live in Chicago, you know about Chicago's traffic, you should have planned for this". But, okay, no problem. So I sit. And sit. And sit. Now it's 8:55 and no doctor. No check in since the last check in, and by now I'm livid. I have been sitting there for an hour waiting. All I could think of is why in the hell didn't this doctor say that she was going to be too late and reschedule me instead of making me wait? Or, why doesn't the clinic have another doctor that is there come in and help me? Neither of which happens. So, I leave the room, and walk around trying to find someone to find out where in the hell this doctor is! And, I'm met with the same excuse, "the doctor is on her way". I asked for an appointment the same day - specifically I asked for an appointment an hour after the doctor's last appoointment to see how she likes to wait around for her patients. Livid doesn't begin to describe tmy anger at that time. I went back to the room to calm down a bit and another doctor (finally!) comes in to apologize and offers to conduct the physical. At this point, I cannot because I had already spent the amount of time that I had allotted waiting for the doctor to show up! This doctor never apologized to me. Never called to offer an apology, an explanation. I cannot believe that she was recommended to me! I understand that this was a one-time event for her, but this was my introduction to her, and it left more than a sour taste in my mouth. I would NEVER go back to this doctor again. Unprofessional. My first mistake is that the doctor who was recommended to me by a reputable source was not taking new patients, so I went with her in the same clinic. Bad idea. As you will see. My baby was constipated from the get-go and he also had other obvious signs like poor eye contact, and delays but she picked up on exactly none of those warning signs. I became very concerned at six months when my baby couldn't eat foods. He was gagging. He started closing his mouth because he didn't want the food. Nope, she still wasn't concerned. We went over a year just on breast milk; when I'd say he still wasn't eating; nope again, she still wasn't concerned. Nor did she show him to other doctors at the clinic, or get a second opinion. When he became anemic after over a year of only breast milk, she panicked and sent me to a specialist immediately, who gave us iron supplements. My son was literally falling over and his growth slowing before she took action. While giving my son iron supplements, I knew we had to get him on food and decided she was incapable. I mean I was looking at a food tube situation if something didn't change. I did my own online research and learned about tied tongues. I took my son to an ENT specialist myself, and she diagnosed him as tied, after a visual check under his tongue. We did a very simple surgery procedure and it changed everything. My son could eat and he now could talk, allbeit late which had it's own ramifications. I've met others with babies who had tied tongues that were clipped very early and they were spared all the heartache. Another example: My son didn't sleep well, and again, she was no help. Just said to let him cry to sleep. Did some research, decided to take him for a sleep test. Found out he had sleep apnea. When sleeping he had 100 percent coverage by his adenoids. Took him to the same fabulous ENT surgeon that did the tongue clipping, for that as well. And one of the rudest moments: I suggested my son was delayed, and she said very dismissively, "Your son is not at risk." Well guess what, he received an ASD diagnosis and he also was discovered to have ileitis. So, she should have listened to me instead of talking down to me and treating me like I was ignorant. When I changed pediatricians after about 2 years of this terrible care, she said, "I can't blame you." Yes, she actually said that. She failed us, on some very common issues babies have. She allowed him to go without food for far too long. She never sought out help for us, just said she "wasn't worried" until we hit a crisis. This woman may have been practicing for awhile now, but as this review demonstrates, she clearly has no innate sense of care, nor does she authentically respect women who are reporting symptoms and signs she can't understand so don't be fooled. Hopefully these examples (there are more, but to avoid going on too long I'll stop here), reveal her innate lack of judgement. I really urge people to look for someone with better judgement and who respects mothers by acting on what they report. Go to someone you hear about from a number of parents, not from just one parent or another doctor. Put some time into finding your pediatrician. Do it before you have your baby so you are not rushed. You will be glad you did.

I've been a patient of the Diamond Headache Clinic since 2018. If you had asked me about my…read moreexperience at DHC pre Nov 2025 it would have been overwhelmingly positive. I have a chronic condition and the care and empathy I received was great. Since then Diamond has sold out to Endeavor and while there's PLENTY of 1 star reviews documenting the massive downfall related to that and how the transition was an absolute butchered disaster, my qualms go MUCH deeper. Months later getting a hold of them was terrible. In March I had an appointment with Dr Diamond that was keyed as a "new patient" and because of this cost me over $250. I am a long time patient, if you buy out a business it's pretty standard to grandfather old customers in. At my next appointment she agreed that it wasn't right and would try and help me, she did not. I tried to get in contact with her multiple times, nothing. I actually scheduled a video appointment in June just to ask her about it (which I paid for). Again agreed to help, nothing. I am on disability for my headaches and the difference between $30 and $250 is life changing. I also tried to get in contact with one of their supervisors Jaydeelyn who after promising to help try and find some resolution has completely stopped responding. Even if there's nothing you can do, the decency of returning a call isn't a lot to ask. It took over -4 months- to respond to a prior authorization, My pharmacy called them -11 times-. Only after a physical fax and me hounding them did they respond. It took them 3 weeks to respond to my refill on Mychart. I had to wean myself off my medication and then back on it. What if this medication was life threatening? 3+ weeks to get a refill could lead to serious consequences or worse. There's no other way to say it's straight case of medical negligence. I had to physically visit the location to get them to respond to my request to try and move my appointment because they don't answer their phones or anything for that matter. If a patient has to physically visit you to ask to change their appt that should be a huge wake up call for your practice. On top of that their front desk staff Jacqueline wrote this up in a "visit note" on Mychart in which it was clear she was not aware that this was something I would be able to see, not only did she make fun of how I talk with my hands and sway, she misrepresented me in multiple ways and directly lied about what I was asking to put me in a negative light. Even if this was supposed to be an internal message, even if this note was 100% true, is this the culture in this office? Talking about patients behind their back? The fact she wrote this where I could see it is direct incompetence. This responsibility is shared by their RN Laurie who has left almost a dozen messages in Mychart unresponded too. It's clear this level of medical negligence is systemic. DHC has fallen from a nationally respected headache clinic to a place with disgraceful medical negligence starting with Dr Diamond herself. If this sounds mean or I sound "bully-like" (as they so put in that same visit note about me) well maybe, because in a way, it is. This behavior was directly caused by a failure to provide the bare minimum of what would be considered adequate medical care. I am in constant debilitating pain and I have been for almost 10 years. so not having my medication for multiple weeks or being incorrectly billed or just not getting the courtesy of a phone call back, these are things that seriously, financially and most the most importantly medically, negatively affect my life. To some credit the billing issue was finally solved by their practice manager Kevin, but this took Dozens of contacts and 7+ months. Dr Diamond, you've clearly failed. You've failed me and you've failed at least 20+ reviewers on here so I can't imagine how many more. Endeavor should take serious note of what's happening here, step in and make sure no one gets hurt from the (lack of) care that's happening here. It's shameful what you've done to Diamond Headache Clinic.

Whatever, I needed to see someone for my cold-like symptoms. Everything was going fine until Dr. C asked me if I was worried or concerned about H1N1. Working at an organization filled with public health advocates and nurses and knowing that I appropriately wash my hands, I replied, "Not really..." before I could continue to list my reasons why I didn't really feel overly worried, Dr. C very defensively asked me, "Well why not???" I replied, "Well, I work at ___..." and could not even finish my explanation before this woman very smugly replied, "Well I don't know how you saying that is supposed to explain to me why you're not concerned about H1N1!" Everything went downhill from there as I was basically fed scare tactics by this doctor who must have thought I was being nonchalant about the dangers of H1N1. Despite not having a fever, I was then basically told, "Well you might have it." In the end, she never treated me for it or provided me with that diagnosis, so go figure.
