Office staff was condescending and made smirks at me when I told them I didn't understand the costs and that they would require full payment upon leaving. I didn't have $3200 on me at the time. I went I for evaluation and then two root canals, if necessary. Prior to arrival, the office emailed me the cost for one root canal. That was the last treatment plan I saw. Here's what should have happened. My bad also for allowing it. Once the exam was complete, a revised treatment plan should have been prepared and reviewed with me for consent prior to treatment. That did not happen. Again, my bad for allowing it. I gave consent without a valid treatment plan. That's the process I'm used to and should have insisted. If they are part of your insurance network, go for it with caution. If they are out of network, find a practice that is. I felt 2nd class at this facility. Shameful!

I didn't want to choose an office just based on location (since it was so close to my house) so I checked out a few reviews and their website. Making my appointment was so easy. We both have very busy schedules, but the scheduling staff was so friendly and accommodating. I was able to schedule our appointments within just two to three weeks from the date I called. We went on two separate dates but had the same type of experience. The staff from greeting us at the door from the time we left were so friendly and willing and able to answer any and all questions. We both got Alayna as our dental hygienist. We both agreed she was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Rupert is great! He is very nice, extremely knowledgeable, and patient. I know I don't have dental issues as serious as what he has probably seen but he took the time to listen to my dental concerns and offered several solutions. Being new to the area and just getting settled in, it was so nice to leave the office knowing that we found our new family dentist office!

So I called and asked if my new insurance would be accepted and they said it would be. Then I got a bill for $125 for the cleaning as that aspect wasn't covered by my insurance. Well, I requested a discount and no they wouldn't give me one. Secondly my son had a cleaning scheduled and since it was the same insurance I called the morning of the appt and cancelled his appt. I then get a bill for $75 for cancellation of appt. I call their office again to see if they will waive the $75, the answer was no. It seems like it's more about money and not about helping out a long term client. I will never go back even if my insurance changes. On the day of the surgery he didn't come out to say hello to me & never once greeted my daughter (the actual patient!). Everything was handled by the nurse anesthetist and support staff (who were very nice). They tried to bill a CT Scan for the initial consultation saying, which definitely didn't occur. Finally, their cost estimate of what I owed was higher resulting in a small overpayment ($42). I called the office and was assured they would send a checknwhich was never received. Yes, the necessary procedure got done. But there is a whole lot of ego and little to no bedside manner to be had with this provider.
