Unfortunately, that was not the case. I arrived early, but wasn't called back until 20 minutes past my appointment time. After the X-rays (I think her name was Lola who was wonderful--professional and patient), I sat in the chair for well over an hour. When the doctor finally arrived, I was told my teeth looked good with minimal buildup, yet they presented a $1,500 treatment plan filled with 'add-ons' like laser treatments and cavity preventatives. As someone who brushes and flosses daily, I was shocked. When I declined the extras and requested just the standard cleaning my insurance covers, the doctor became visually irritated. I was then told they 'couldn't' do a basic cleaning without a $200 deep cleaning first. It feels like this office is more interested in upselling than patient care. Unfortunately, they'll still collect the insurance money for the X-rays, but they've lost a patient for life. I asked them to email my X-rays and documents they did collect so I can take it to a better dentist and they didn't... Thanks for nothing, Dr. Espinosa Edit: They called me the same day I posted this review. Maybe in hopes I take it down? I have always been on top of all my dental visits, check-ups, X-Rays and cleanings (3x/year). Come the appointment for cleaning, the hygienist comes in hot and tells me I have major issues with my gums and need to have a deep cleaning ($140 OOP) and laser gum treatment ($400 OOP) then maintain deep cleanings every 2-3 years with routine cleaning every 3 months because of my "advanced gum deterioration" keep in mind my other dental office with routine check-ups and X-rays never found anything wrong nor have I felt anything out of the ordinary. I asked her to just perform routine cleaning and she refused stating that there is no point to doing that and only a deep cleaning and/or laser gum treatment is what is recommended, I was stuck in the moment and the chair I said go ahead and deep clean it. Also note, the only time I ever did a real deep cleaning it was done in two visits with 2 quadrants cleaned at a time, she cranked it out everything so fast so it was basically a normal messy cleaning labeled and charged as a deep clean. After the cleaning I consulted a few hygienist friends I have and got their opinion, a deep cleaning is pretty extreme and almost unnecessary if you've already had one and maintain good hygiene and regular check-ups/cleanings and they all pretty much summed up how some clinics will absolutely be sales driven and up-sell or recommend unnecessary procedures to rack up the bill. I'm going back to my old dental office and paying out of pocket, I had no idea there's a dark side to this industry and it showed here. The whole process did not feel right at all, it was rushed, sales pitch was fast, filled with strong buzz words and fabricated urgency like a used car lot or old gym memberships. I should have just left and went for a second opinion at another office.

The wisdom teeth removal was fine and they also decided to do the fillings while I was under. I was told nerve pain would be normal for around a month and unfortunately I got dry socket, maybe my fault not sure... So come to find out the pain is not my nerve it's actually from the filling not being done correctly, which I guess just happens (apparently) ? So at this point I'm told by the doctor I need a crown and root canal $1600 out of pocket for the crown and $300 :) because they maxed out my insurance. I was put under that day, so I was unaware that fillings could fail. I thought it was my wisdom tooth surgery. Anyways I got the root canal done but still unfortunately have pain till this day. I never went back for the crown, because absolutely not! Hey it was a life lesson, don't let it be your lesson.
