This guy is a joke. Got away with murder when he broke our mother's neck back in 2005. He can try to dispute it, but there is a record on file with the state of Florida supporting those facts. I've had 3 back surgeries. I didn't want anymore. I walked into Dr. Armstrong's office in pain, tears in my eyes, and a not so good MRI in hand. He performed his awesome hand skills on my back. Oh My Gosh....now, I can walk without tears and pain. The first time I walked into his office (about 9 months go), I'll admit I had little hope but I also felt I had nothing to lose and knowing I might have another back surgery in the near future. I have been going to Dr. Armstrong for about 9 months now just to stay in check. I know where I have been and I know where I am now....and that's "in a very good place"...walking, hiking, swimming, camping, snorkeling, cruising, dancing and just feel so darn good. I most admittedly owe it all to Dr. Armstrong. I also want to shout out kudos to the awesome staff. They are so cheerful, sweet, kind, caring and funny. Thank God for a miracle worker in Cocoa Beach! Second day of vacation, and my neck is locked up so badly with my sciatic nerve pinched that I cannot enjoy my vacation. Armstrong chiropractic gladly took me in as a new patient, worked me in as an urgent case, and offered to take my insurance without a hitch. Then, I meet Dr. Armstrong himself. Obviously enthusiastic about supporting his community and super friendly, he not only adjusted my back during my emergency work in session, he offered to squeeze me back in for a complementary visit later in the day! and then also to fit me in early the next morning! I'm sorry, but no doctor has given me a complementary visit ever! This was a vastly different experience than another chiropractor that I was locally referred to. His receptionist was so condescending that I could barely finish the conversation with her. They didn't want to accept my insurance because I am a visitor and it's inconvenient, that I would have to cash pay and handle my insurance myself...until I challenged her... Then, I was put on a waiting list and never called anyway. What a completely different experience at Dr. Armstrong's chiropractic office! All employees were super friendly, helpful and seemed glad to see me. The office is obviously well run and very punctual. PS... I FEEL GREAT I'm excited to have a chiropractor in Cocoa Beach now for when I visit and hopefully move here permanently someday. read more

A frail elderly 83 year old woman came into this clinic. She did not receive x-rays but had her neck and back adjusted 3 times in one week. She became subsequently more weak after each adjustment resulting in the provider and his staff assisting her to her car on the 3rd visit. She became a quadriplegic and died 6 weeks later. It is with great concern that I write this review. It seems that this medical professional is not well-versed in mental and physical health. When asked about concerns with his language toward a teenager, he was callus and uncaring. Disappointing that bedside manner and thoughtfulness is not taught at chiropractic school. I hope that my grievance of concern is addressed not in a rude voicemail but instead in a professional dialogue about best practice and research. read more

Mr. Armstrong is very engaging and quickly gets to your adjustment. He does a discount for military but I'm not sure what the % is. If he thinks you need it, he has no problem sending you to the next room for some muscle therapy. Also, very flexible on fitting you in. I have yet to run into a problem where I couldn't be seen when there are enough hours left in the day to work with. Only complaints - parking lot if you're coming from north (crossing A1A stinks) and tehy're only open until noon on Fridays. read more

I went to go see Dr. Armstrong because he was recommended by someone I knew. After giving Dr. Armstrong my MRI and CT scan reports he proceeded to do a manual adjustment to my back. Unfortunately for me he is used what I would consider abrupt and excessive force on my lower back. Post 90 days later and from that adjustment I am still in extreme pain. I have been seeing chiropractors for over 15 years and never have I had one apply such excessive force to my lower back area where, to where I let out a very large scream. My wife in the waiting room even heard my s team. Dr. Armstrong is a very nice individual yet, his method to what he used on me produced extremely poor results and left me with even more pain than when I came to see him. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and continued to go back for 6 to 8 sessions to which resulted in even more pain. I was hoping his method would produce some strange new result in relief. It did not, so I cannot recommend this individual due to the amount of pain that I still have after seeing him. read more

Came to him with a 7 year old problem. Exhausted many orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors and even a neurosurgeon. Exhausted back injections by various orthopedic surgeons, physical therapy and medication therapy. Nothing helped. He's intelligent, kind, charitable and most importantly COMPETENT. He works with military personnel, colleges, high schools, Fire Departments, Law Enforcement etc. When I went for my first visit, he explained and showed me things about my MRI that no other doctor did. Even the neurosurgeon. I expected treatments for around a year and he said, " I hope to have your problems solved in a few weeks". He's not the scam artists that a lot of chiropractors are. He is honest and truly cares about fixing your problems in the least amount of time possible. He started me off with multiple adjustments per day for the first week. I got immediate relief. He then moved onto multiple times per week. Then "as needed". He totally eliminated my sciatica from the bottom of my feet to my sacrum. His common sense approach to problem solving is remarkable. Many times he didn't even charge me for an adjustment. He is an amazing Doctor. After all I have been through for 7 years, I should know. They don't come any better than Dr. Armstrong. 2.5 years ago I had 3 bad neck injuries occur in just one month. I was rear-ended at 40 mph, a surfing injury, and finally my son jumped on my neck after all the other injuries had occurred. Straight to the point and knows exactly what he is doing, every visit has been no more than a walk into the office. I'm going to start listening to this man. I live in chronic pain! As well as fibromyalgia! But I can't expect results ? Only going once in a while? And the medical profession?well? They have their place. But it's not just about drugs ,or what they have done to me ,by cauterizing nerves so you don't "feel" the pain. Not only did they not provide me with pain relief, but I was actually in even more pain when I left than when I went in. Armstrong is a fraud! When he could not properly adjust my neck he asked me to come back the next day JUST so he could charge me for another visit. THEN when I did come back the next day he still didnt adjust the neck properly and actually told me that my bone just stuck out that way, which was BS because I have been adjusted for years by other chiros who do the job.
