If you go in you will come out worse. Staff does not care. Patients steal from you and staff does nothing. Do not go there

I called the Pawling Rehab Center and told them about my situation. Janet was so lovely and immediately went to work, figured out everything with my insurance and got me in right away. After a consultation with James, he put me to work right that same day. They did emphasize this a lot: it will feel worse before it feels better. I've never gone to rehab for anything in my life so this was something new. I went in with a very open mind and ready to put in the work. Everyone here has been so helpful and kind, they treat you like you are part of a family. At no point does anyone make you feel bad about yourself, if anything they're cheering for you. They do this to everyone that comes in, no matter the age. They truly care about you! Janet, Lauren, Hollie, Amber, James, you all have been amazing! Thanks for taking care of me and for doing what you all do! BTW: this facility is spotless. They're literally cleaning and disinfecting things all day. It doesn't feel like a hospital at all even though it's part of the Putnam Hospital. Way, way different. Highly recommend! Be ready to work though :)

Holly Hagen helped me get back on my feet and able to walk within 2 months of beginning therapy. They were easy going and never gave me a hard time about missing appointments. After an illness left him significantly disabled, we researched and visited nursing facilities, looking for a placement where he would be safe, well cared for, and treated with dignity. In Dad's time at Paramount, the clinical staff have been attentive, professional, and genuinely compassionate. They treat him as an individual, not just a patient, and always make him feel respected. The facility itself is clean, calm and welcoming, which gives us great peace of mind. Administrative and non-clinical staff have also been very helpful, guiding us through paperwork and fielding our questions with patience and clarity. My husband and I have spent a lot of time at Paramount over the past two months, and we feel confident that our much-loved elder is receiving the comprehensive support he needs in a caring environment.

My mother had an eye infection & needed antibiotics 4 times a day, which she was not receiving. We had to insist, but the nurse was adamant about what she wanted to do. Took my mother off her incontinence medication. They changed her insulin medication. They took her off her diarrhea medication that was prescribed by her gastrontrologist. My brother walked in at lunchtime one weekend,& her meal tray was at the sink. Not even close to her so she could eat. And how is she supposed to eat If he didn't walk in to give it to her. I walked in on the same day of the same weekend & she was in bed in a diaper with her bedroom Door closed. How is she supposed to call out for help if she needed help, for no one to hear her with the door closed. Just recently she was being discharged on Friday, & I walked in at lunchtime, she was in a diaper, and a top in bed, flat on her back while all the staff was down the hall. She was saturated, I had to change her clothes. The staff was not even near my mother & my mother was not feeling well. I asked them to check her blood sugar as she's a diabetic, it was 63. I ended up calling the paramedics because they wouldn't call. She had to be taken to the hospital. It turns out that she had a uti infection. They also threw her antibiotics away when i was looking for them. Who does that? They wanted to kill her. I would never recommend this Rehab facility to anyone.
