Not only was the quotation reasonable but along with the quote we received a packet filled with information of what a property owner should consider when hiring a foundation company from all of the questions that need to be asked to the references that need to be checked. The extraordinary professionalism from Kevin and his team was beyond what we had expected. The crew came in and treated our property as if it was their own. They took great care to cover the lawn so as not to damage it with their machinery. They excavated the entire side of the apartment building down to the foundation floor and every step of the repair was completed properly (we received a detailed step by step manifest of the work to be done). The job was finished in two days and they cleaned up everything so thoroughly that you would never even know they were there. Every single member of the crew was exceptionally polite and respectful. I visited the site often and every one of them was fantastically knowledgable about what they were doing not to mention very patient with me and willing to answer all of my questions (and I had many!). I only regret that I did not get all of their names because they absolutely deserve mention. The two that I do know was Andy and Jim but all of them were wonderful. Based on their good reviews (which I now…read morerealize are mainly from years ago), I waited a month or so for them to give me an opinion about how to keep water from getting into my basement bedroom. I was out of town and arranged for someone to meet them at my house to let them in. I had asked that they call me when they were at my house so I could explain the history of the problem, which was complex. When Kevin went to my house, he did not bother to call me. Without knowing the extensive troubleshooting I had done in the preceding 2 months, he told the person who met him at my house that it was not a foundation problem and left it at that. When I left repeated messages requesting an explanation, he did not call back. Instead, he sent a 2-sentence email that explained nothing and stated rudely that it was not his responsibility to inform me about his assessment. I can only assume he did not view the work needed on my house as worth his while. When I tried to explain why I wanted to know how he reached his conclusion, he sent me another rude email saying he was done communicating with me. When I posted a negative review on Google, he replied in writing with insults, claiming that I had not treated him well, and that I had no business writing a review because he did not want me as a client. He implied that I had unreasonable expectations at a time when his business was booming due to heavy rainfalls, expressing no empathy for me as a homeowner seeking help to manage distressing consequences of the heavy rainfalls.

To install the sump pump the work team removed concrete on the inside of the foundation, dug a trench, and then replaced the concrete. Throughout the process we found staff to be extremely knowledgeable, professional, and hard-working. We especially appreciated their quick response and the ability to assess the issue both efficiently and effectively. In July of 2017 we had a freak rain storm which filled up my window wells and poured water into my…read morenewly renovated home. I had contacted some of the large basement repair companies and had received some quotes in excess of $35,000. Although their scope of work was larger and included trenching down to the weeping tile on two sides of the house to do repairs, it may have been a bit of overkill to fix the problem at hand. Through a friend I learned of LeMars Waterproofing. I called Trevor Martin and he promptly came and had a review of the project and provided an on site quote. He schedule the work for a week and a half later. He arrived on time with his crew and materials, installed 5 window well drains, raised 4 window wells, and installed one new one. He was very informative and his crew was knowledgeable and very cordial. The 3 man crew, including Trevor, hand dug everything mentioned as to avoid gas and electrical lines. Before they left, they had the work site cleaned up better than they found it. All of this came in at about 10% of the first quote. Although the first quote was a larger scope, I think Trevor addressed the issue at hand and provided a reasonable solution to our concerns. I would highly recommend their services.

I phone Basement system Edmonton and they came on the same day December 17, 2019, after pumping the excess water to my shower room and install the new pump. The job seems to look good. Two days after my basement alarm on again and water was rising. I call the company December 19, 2019 and answering machine said "we are on holiday and will be back January 2, 2020.
