We were very specific that we wanted a granite/quartz look…read more The veins of color Craig poured did not stretch all the way to the edges, making it look very unnatural and like someone just painted the countertops and stopped before the edges. There were also some divots, rough areas and fuzz stuck in the epoxy that needed addressing. Eventually Craig did return to address our concerns. On his second visit, unbeknownst to me, Craig did absolutely zero preparation, did not move or cover any of my brand new appliances, cabinets, etc. He was obviously inconvenienced about having to return, made a comment about having to "rob" another customers product in order to fix our concerns, and this clearly showed in his carelessness with our property as well as the haphazard work done that day. There were several divots in this pour, he did not remove my kitchen faucet, so epoxy pooled in mounds on either side, there was cat hair stuck in the epoxy, as well as epoxy on my brand new sink, brand new stove, brand new dishwasher, brand new flooring, brand new cabinets, and hardwood flooring. To be fair, later that evening there was some damage done to the not quite dry epoxy by one of our children and a pet. We were happy to pay for the repairs to fix those specific areas, but nearly every single area of every countertop had major issues, not to mention all the damage to our brand new appliances, floors and cabinets. It has now been weeks of trying to get Craig to remedy this situation. He has had nothing but excuses, from placing the blame on us to saying the countertops were not built of the proper material for epoxy, even though he assured me it was fine and he, as the business owner, ultimately made the decision to pour on it. We eventually had to have another company come in, sand down the countertops and repour. Again. While this other company was finally able to give me great looking countertops, I am still out the money paid to Craig, as well as the money I had to pay the new company, and apparently whatever it will cost to repair/replace my now epoxy coated appliances floors and cabinets, as Craig has been giving the run around about it for weeks. As small business owners ourselves, I would definitely not recommend this company. Not on quality of work or customer service.

I have a relatively new built home and there was only 1 crack in the concrete that was never filled that was suppose to be done. He then told us he would come back to fix the crack and some spots in which the concrete was still showing through the epoxy and he never did. Just excuse after excuse. i would even give this company 1 star. I highly recommend not using them for any services around your home.

During my original call to Charlie he talked so highly of the fact that the company has been in the…read morefamily for generations, years of experience, quality, satisfied customers, etc. This was why I decided to hire him for my job. I also wanted to make sure that my location was not a problem for him since I am a distance away. He indicated that he travels all over and that would not be a problem. We agreed on a price per sq. ft and then a day to start. On day 1 of the project there was little in the way of a greeting upon arrival. It was constant complaining about how long the drive was, how much gas be probably used, how many cars he had to pass, how many tractor trailers got in his way. This occurred each morning upon his arrival. As soon as he walked into my house and looked at the floors they were instantly a problem. They were supposedly coated with something special and it would take all of this extra work and supplies in order to do the job. Without much further explaining he indicated it would be an extra $500 for it to be worth it for him to do the job. Knowing little about hardwood floors and their finishes I agreed. He proceeded to get to work and I left. By noon I checked the security cameras and noticed that his van was gone and the door was closed. Around 1-2pm in the afternoon I received a text from him: "floor definitely a bitch to sand but I made good progress today." When I returned home, the entire area was all sanded (~800sqft). Seems like this was a quick job for these "difficult floors". I brought to his attention that there was a landing that was not done (mentioned in the original call and on day 1). He said that he didn't think it needed to be done and if it was his house, he wouldn't do it (the previous finish was flaking from sun damage). Ultimately, this was completed. On the third day of the project, I needed to point out that during the sanding he has scratched the lower cabinets and my $1000+ dishwasher by apparently dragging the sander along them. When looking at the cabinets he just kept saying that he couldn't figure out what could have done that. When I showed him the dishwasher scratches he got down and started rubbing them with his hand not saying anything. He then gets up and walks into the living room examining the floors. I asked him if we could discuss the scratches, he threw his hands up in the air and said "if you're not paying me, I'm outa here." Diffusing the situation, I said we could discuss it later and said that I never indicated I was not going to pay him. At this point, I wanted to discuss a transition piece that I wanted a darker color than the rest of the floors (how it originally was). He again said that if it was his house, he would leave it. I indicated that this was something that needed to be done. He agreed and went to get some darker stain so I could approve before leaving. As he was applying the painter's tape on the border it became wrinkled and he started to pull part of it up and re-position it. When the tape didn't stick, he ripped it off the floor in a bit of rage and stomped out of the house swearing how its cheap and costs to much and its shitty tape. On the fourth day (final sand and polyurethane) he shows up and as soon as he steps into the house, he lost his mind. He had a total breakdown that the floors were still tacky and he couldn't sand them. He went on for quite some time swearing, complaining about the job and how it was costing him money. He ripped off his knee pads, opened the garage door and threw them, slammed the door and proceeded to get his sander from the kitchen and he walked out and left. All the while I didn't say a word and I didn't know if he was coming back or not. Later that afternoon he texted me apologizing for his behavior and blamed it on family problems and he wanted to negotiate a cash price (I'm assuming was his way of compensating me for the damaged dishwasher? Seems very convenient for him.) I responded that I was far from happy with the entire situation and that cash is not an option and that I will be replacing the front panel of my dishwasher. He then calls me upset asking what we are going to do about this situation and then says he doesn't know what my issue is with the dishwasher, I'm just too "picky." He says that he showed the picture of the scratches to some of his buddies, and they don't know what the big deal is. I explained that he was hired into my home and damaged my property. Something needs to be done. On the final day (still final sand and polyurethane) he shows up fairly subdued. I ask him who to make the check out to and he says to him, not the company. He then asks who my bank is. When I tell him he says "where the hell is that?" I say that its not a local bank. "Great, guess I wont get paid til Tuesday!" and stomps out the door mumbling and says "this job just keeps costing me!" I reluctantly left (thankful for my security system and cameras). What started off with a little confusion in regards to a home visit, we got past that and ended up…read morebooking the sandless procedure. I was told it would be done in a day and it ended up turning out to be 2 days. Which cost me some money at the kennel but luckily they were able to accommodate me. The floor itself looks absolutely beautiful. One minor area that we thought was dry didn't turn out as nice as the others. But all in all, I would highly recommend this procedure versus sanding. And it's a family-owned operation and everyone in the family was extremely polite and helpful. I have handed out of the flyers. They left me and let others see my floor. They look absolutely beautiful.
