We even helped them take apart some of the items and moved the majority of the boxes. We paid for an entire day because this was Port Townsend to Coupeville and a ferry crossing was required. I tried so hard to clearly communicate my needs to this company but, when moving day came, the two men who showed up just wanted to do the bare minimum and actually charged me a fee for staying until 4:30, even though I had already asked Sound to charge me for the whole day. I am very frustrated with moving companies these days because it just seems like the movers get angry and inpatient even when you pay them a fair price. I suppose the basics were taken care, as is why I paid what I owed. But boy it sure is hard to find help these days.

They were on time. We had to wait for access to my storage area, they were patient. We warned them that we live in a heavily wooded area, off a country roads, with tight turns into the driveway and, with smiles, they were game. They drove a HUGE (30ft, 36ft?) truck right to the doors. They were careful, fast, and nice. Those are benefits you usually don't get when you're moving, The fees were reasonable and they were appreciative when I tipped. I can't recommend them highly enough. Call them. trust them, tip well. These guys are awesome.

This place is a nightmare. I loaned my friend some money to rent a unit -- put it on my credit…read morecard. We were both very clear that I was only paying for the first month and that my card number was not to be kept on file. They did it anyway and automatically charged my card the next month. Since then it's been one thing after another for my friend -- setting up autopay without permission, changing payment dates, processing payments weeks ahead of the due date without permission, then refusing to refund the money. This is a big deal when you're on a tight budget. They can screw up payments and make all the mistakes they want and you just have to deal with it, but don't you dare be late with your payment or they will lock you out. And make sure you put your lock on exactly the way they say, with the keyhole facing the right direction, or they will charge you fines. Also prepare to get locked inside the facility when the gate malfunctions -- don't worry, the cops will come eventually and let you out. The icing on the cake -- there are rodents in the units that will chew holes in your stuff and defecate and urinate on everything. I get that storage is hard to come by in this area but do whatever you can to avoid this unscrupulous business. I've had units at several places over the years and never seen anything like this -- I would sell my stuff before I'd store it here.

The facility is well kept and it is very easy to get our truck and trailer in and out. After dealing with the nasty owner at Sequim Valley Storage this place was a breath of fresh air.

I rented a few outside spaces for my 5th wheel RV as well as my car trailer and car. I went to pick…read morethe RV up to go on a trip, and found the door was completely ruined as thieves tried to break in. It was more than $1500 to replace. The only reason they didn't gain access was because they broke the knife off in the lock and jammed it. They also damaged the side storage containers, which I have not repaired, and stole several hundred dollars worth of equipment and tools. I filed a police report, and the officer took a look around and called it an unsecured storage area as there was barbed wire missing on the back fencing, and the camera coverage was lacking. Since I couldn't even gain access I had to find a local motel for myself and my dog at $100, then call a locksmith the next morning for $65, then go to the local RV parts place to buy a new handle and lock for around $50, and replace it myself. I also lost my $40 which was pre-paid for the Friday night RV space. The whole thing cost me over $2,000. After reporting the attempted break-in, I asked the lady in the office to please have the owner call me. I was assured that not only would they call me, but they would be addressing the lack of barbed-wire, etc. I removed the 5th wheel immediately. I never even received the call from the owner. When I went back to get the car-hauler and car a few months later, the security concerns had not been addressed like they had promised. I would never use this place again as I do not think they really cared about me, the customer, and the fact that they are advertising secure storage when in fact it is not.

Some of it went okay. Where things went south is the help loading the truck. I've thought about this long and hard. I have valuable stuff missing. I've waited over a year to post thinking maybe I was wrong. And maybe I am. I'm just going to state facts. No accusations. A little background first. Port Angeles is "different". It's a beautiful town in a beautiful part of the country. But there are issues. Drugs, alcoholism, and hillbillies. The latter seem harmless at first until you begin to understand their lifestyle. Fact is they would steal from you in a heartbeat and think nothing of it. It's their culture. They live in filth and their values don't match those of most people. Port Angeles is full of hillbillies and Terry & Sons are in that category. With that out of the way let me just state what I know. On moving day they didn't show up. After I called, two of the clan came out to their credit but I wish they hadn't. It was Pop and son. Hillbilly Sr. was mostly in the truck arranging. I asked him many times if I need to get more blankets please let me know. I need things protected for the drive. He said no each time. Once I arrived at my destination I found he wasn't using blankets. Just cramming stuff in. A lot of my stuff was damaged because of that. To this day I find things that make me shake my head. Stupid things. I'm not going into long detail to keep this post a reasonable length. This is in addition to the damage by incompetent loading. Here's the big thing and I'll end with it. On loading day hillbilly Jr. comes to me with my gun safe which I keep under my bed. I'm like "cool, thanks" and put it in my truck. It wasn't until after the move I realized my $400 collectable dagger, which was right next to the gun safe, is nowhere to be found. It's gone. And I started thinking "well where could it be?" I've gone through every single box, every single possible place it could be and it's gone. And then I start thinking "well why didn't he present that to me when he presented my gun safe to me?". I don't know. I'll never know. I'm just stating facts. My recommendation: Steer clear.
