I hear my dear, late Auntie in the back of my brain: "If at first you don't succeed, try try again. Then quit. No sense in being a damned fool about it." In the case of Uhaul (most especially THIS place of business), I have spoken to this office, other offices, and their main hub too many times to count since 6 June 2022 because someone did not close out a contract properly when I turned in the truck. Because of this, I've had charges levied against me for one-way trips to Boston (including tolls) and Indiana, and each time I've called and asked to have these matters corrected so it won't happen again, I receive assurances it will not, only to receive a text that there were more charges. This time, Uhaul attempted to collect from my account, for a trip that I never did, on a closed contract. Does this seem right to you? I do not feel safe recommending this company to anyone after receiving this kind of treatment.

When I contacted him to let him know that the truck he rented me had non-operational headlights, he told me that I had "brought it on myself" & that it was not his responsibility to make sure that the headlights were functioning properly & told me to call Roadside Assistance. When I contacted Budget, after making us wait for more than an hour, they first tried to send us many miles backwards, then referred me to a repair shop more than 2 day's drive away. They would not listen to where we actually were & were incredibly rude & unhelpful. Because of the headlight issue, I was unable to drive at night & my trip took days longer than expected. Additionally, even knowing that I would be hauling a heavy car trailer & loaded truck over steep mountain passes, Monte neglected to mention the truck's tow/haul mode feature, seriously compromising my & my family's safety. Fortunately, after a terrifying experience on Deadman's Pass, a nice truck driver informed me of the function, making the rest of the trip much safer. Why this function is not mentioned in Budget's towing information brochure is beyond me, it makes a huge difference both in the handling of the truck & with fuel economy. The entire experience was incredibly stressful & disappointing. I strongly recommend going with Penske or U-Haul instead.

He said, "yes, I work M-F and someone else works Sat-Sun." Excelent, reservation made, done. Not so fast. I received a voicemail from the woman working at the All About Storage letting me know that they wouldn't be open on Sunday and could I make arrangements with her to pick up the U-Haul on Saturday afternoon? No, I couldn't, I wasn't in Sequim until Sunday. I thought "Office Hours: 8am - 5pm Mon-Sat, 9am - 4pm Sunday, Except certain holidays", which is clearly stated on their website, means that they'd be open on Sundays from 9am-4pm. Since when is June 2 a holiday? So after spending 4 hours running around Sequim and Port Angeles trying to find a U-Haul, we were finally able to leave town. But the lack of professionalism at All About Storage left me with a very bitter taste for them.

Called the number and spoke to Tina twice regarding the website not working. Both times she said she would call me back when she got into the office. Never called. So, I can't review on their cars as I never got that far. But service is a definite no. The more positive reviews are older so maybe the business isn't doing as well as in the past. In addition Practicar's main 800 number leads to one of those scam call centers offering "medical IDs" to people over 55.

So after reaching out to management about the issue and need, they brought a truck in just what I needed and guarenteed me my truck. That made all the difference in the world to me, and I just can't thank them enough for their prompt care, concern and excellence in meeting my needs through a moving truck rental. I had no other means of travel, and they rescued me afterall. Price was great too, and I will now only rent from Penske whenever I need a moving truck. You guys were and are the greatest. The new owners are doing a full overhaul!!-rats gone! new electric entrance for anytime access, updated record-keeping, consistent office hours. He is in the process of building more units, and the owner is happy to be helpful! As much as I am trying to take my things out of storage, I'm pleased that the facility feels clean, secure and support is available if needed.
