The location is hard to beat, sitting right along the Missouri River. I've eaten both inside and outside and had a great experience either way. The patio is wonderful on a nice day, but the huge windows inside still give you a beautiful view of the river if you'd rather be indoors. There's always something new to try, seems like they try to change up the menu/refresh the options oftThey also have a great drink selection, and I've had a lot of fun splitting some of their fishbowl drinks with friends on past visits. All the rooms were furnished with log furniture satellite tv, they had a pool table video games bar area picnic area and play ground for the kids. Staff was super friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a peace and quiet away from town. They were only 8 miles from boat ramps to lake ohae. There were also many options from from full food service to self catering. My family choose the self catering and rented the entire lodge and was able to sole access to the large kitchen.

The ac was set for me without request, helpful directions from the staff which is all family, that's South Dakota style. I will definitely be staying there again. Oh and the bbq is included as well as a playground for kids and they are across the street from the baseball field and the creek!!! And only seconds from the highway. Thank you for the great stay :)
