Recommend the services of this company, which are truthfully quite unique. I had a Mata Ortiz piece sent to me by GALLERY out of Santa Fe. The piece was damaged And perimeter restored it to next to original condition. Given that it was clay pottery Aubry's insistence on excellence is what restore the peace to the point that if you inspect it currently you would be quite skilled if you could find where the flaws had been that he repaired. Secondly, he seems to have inside and apparently himself collects very nice pieces, and I acquired from him a Gorman, which he then matted and framed and did an incredible job, simply incredible and enhanced the visual presentation of the peace. Lastly, he's in the process of putting back together a Fish kill from the green river, which was literally in hundreds of pieces that is a project in process right now and I'm awaiting the results in any case I would highly highly recommend this GALLERY both for batting and framing perhaps for acquisition of pieces and clearly for repair of pieces to museum quality

The owner was easy to work with, the rental rules for setup/breakdown were fair, onsite staff was helpful, and the space was unique. I attended an estate sale and purchased a large, heavy mirror. I realized I wouldn't be able to…read morehelp carry it, so I asked a staff member if someone could assist. She told me yes and mentioned a tip for the person who helped. A gentleman then helped my husband carry the mirror down the stairs. At the top of the stairs, a woman who I believe is named Brittany Y. began following closely behind them on the staircase, which felt unnecessary and made an already difficult situation more stressful. Once downstairs, I handed a cash tip directly to the gentleman. At that point, Brittany took the money from his hand and immediately asked me if I had more to give. When I said "excuse me," she responded, "Not trying to be tacky, but can you give him more money?" I declined. Instead of leaving it there, she remained outside harassing me while my husband and I secured the mirror and continued to ask us for more money. During this time, she told me that "this is her business, and the employee only makes $15 an hour and she doesn't have insurance for them to move things". This was uncomfortable and inappropriate. Discussing an employee's wages and internal policies with a customer-- and especially asking for more money--is highly unprofessional. I did apologize just to end the interaction, but the situation should never have escalated this way. I was willing to tip for help, but being pressured repeatedly and having the money taken from the employee was unacceptable. While I appreciate the help from the gentleman, this experience left a very negative impression. If employees are not supposed to assist with moving items, Brittany could have said something before they started down the stairs.
