Bouncy bouncy bouncy bouncy fun fun fun fun fun -- the wonderful thing about Jump Arena is... OK…read moreit's not the only one. But it's the only one in Leeds, and that's all you need to know. Trust me, I looked up trampolining --not because it's the latest trend in exercise, although it is-- but because I've wanted to get my bounce on for aaaaaages. The only other place in Leeds that I could find looks like it's basically for kids, which is a shame as they have the proper big trampolines. Anyway. This place? So much more than just bouncing. There is trampoline basket ball, trampoline jump in a foam pit, trampoline dodge ball... there's even a tight rope thing you can practice balance on. I love it! They've got a parkour thing in the works too, which is super exciting. Although, the guy didn't really seem to get me when I checked if there would be lessons and if those lessons would be cool for a not-teenager. Whatever I want to run up things. Staff all seem to be about 18. It does smell a little bit like boy and Lynx. But, forget that and just get your bounce on. My friend and I actually spent the first five minutes squealing and bouncing as high and/or as fast as we could until we both collapsed. How do kids DO IT?! Pro tip: warm up a bit. The air in there is super cold which makes your chest hurt if you go nuts like we did. One last question: what is it with alternative exercise places, lasers, and nineties dance music? I mean, weird. But I guess I like it too. DO IT. It's a tenner an hour. Don't go on weekends if you don't want to be surrounded by childs.

No staff are crb checked even though they are locked in a room with children. My daughter lost her adult front tooth when the party she was with were playing against adults (she is 8) she got hit in the face with an adults gun and now needs dental treatment for life. It states on their website that children are matched like for like and parents are only their to support their children however these adults were playing and hurting the kids and no staff intervened. When my daughter told a member of staff she was let out of the room and nobody accompanied her and they let her walk up stairs by herself to find her friends mum on her own. She had just been hit in the face and had a possible head injury and had already lost 1 of her adult teeth and the first aid was poor (putting an ice pack on an exposed nerve is only going to cause more pain) I spoke to 3 members of staff all of which had very different stories. I was told by 111 that if we could retrieve the tooth then they would be able to reattach it. The staff wouldn't allow us to look in the room as they said they had parties booked so it wouldn't be fair. I asked if any staff were looking and she said she had 1 member of staff looking with a torch inbetween parties going in and out. She wasn't prepared to use anymore staff on this and be short staffed for the sake of a chipped tooth. She told me she was the supervisor then when my husband got there he spoke to a young boy who also claimed to be a supervisor who wouldn't allow anyone to look for the missing tooth. (Just to reiterate this was an adult front tooth cut in half with an exposed nerve) I then later spoke to someone claiming to be a director who said there wee 5 members of staff looking for it and contradicted a lot of what the staff had said. The so called "supervisor" who i spoke to was incredibly rude and confrontational and i was shocked that she was able to work with children. There are a lot of very young staff working with kids here who clearly dont understand child protection and safeguarding. On top of this I have found out that the staff are not crb checked yet are left in a dark room with children all day. This is a huge incident waiting to happen for any predators wanting to make an easy target. This is increased risk given that young children play against parties of adults. I will never go here again and would advise anybody i care about personally to do the same.

I found out about it one through the latest small talk publication and thought I would give it a try as they always seem to be popular choice of activity for my little ones. The directions given in advert were easy to follow and had no trouble finding the place except finding the entrance and car park was slightly more difficult. You need to past the little Legz building and take the next left and then the first left takes you round to the car park just outside the main entrance. Directions can be found from their web site and I will give the address at the end of my review. My first visit was a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed full with children of all ages having a great time. The admission price is a quite reasonable £3.70 for 1-3's and £3.95 for the over 4's. I also notice they do toddler session weekday mornings at a reduced rate which also includes a meal and a drink which seem great value. The place has a very lively atmosphere and is decorated in bright and colour designs which will a appeal to children. There is plently of seating for the grown ups and even a chilled out area with sofa's and sky tv so you can leave the kids to get on with playing a sit back and relax knowing they are safe. There is cafe for drinks, cakes and also meals can be ordered too from the menu. It is important to remember to take your socks as sock must be worn at all times in the play area and you wont be allowed on with out them. There is main play area as well as smaller section for younger toddlers. At busy times I would recommend keeping a close eye on younger children in the larger play area as the bigger kids tend to run around with out much notice off the smaller one as they are too busy having fun. I found my little one got banged a couple of times so I moved them to the toddler area where they were fine. This is a great place for kids mine were smiling the whole time. They loved the slides best of all but had fun in all the areas. A good time was had by all my family and I certainly will be heading back there soon. Admission Prices: Under 1's Free 1-3 £3.70 4 and above £3.95 Opening Times 6, Matrix Court, Leeds, LS11 5WB Telephone Number: 0113 2702747
