What the hell?! Care quality was horizontal. Ugh never show that name here in el paso again! And to not show your faces in epcc ever again! I hope it gets shut down. And they said all beds were busy?! Yeah right! They dididnt wanna move anyone along!

Right off the bat, I already needed to say how impressive this place is as a blood donation center…read more Even though I didn't appreciate how the phlebotomist started my needle placement because I can clearly see how the needle is not flush with my vein. My right antecubital vein (top elbow aspect) is always my go to vein for blood draws or donations especially. So I decided to point it out to her immediately and not have to fuss. Unfortunately she missed my vein and tried to blame it on my veins rolling. I said, no because this is always the good vein that everyone uses when I donate and it never rolls. She had no further comment, nor did I. I just wanted to get it over with. I was very well hydrated and in great health that I was done in literally 5 minutes. Goes to show you that I also shouldn't have had any rolling main veins. No matter though cuz I was ready for snacks. This place redeemed itself that much more because of their impressive assortment of snacks and drinks. Best of all? A freaking popcorn machine! This sweet old lady was starting to make it and made sure I took home a whole bag of fresh popcorn and said I can take more snacks and a water, even though I had my own. Super sweet! I don't mind coming back to this location because of that snack experience. When I'm physically able to again in a few months anyway lol.

I hope you all recognize your employees, because since I've been donating at that location every…read moresingle employee has been respectful completely and professional, there focused on the donor and especially the process, always polite, they deserve an applause, if I was wealthy I would take a bunch of pizzas and the whole works because they deserve it, bravo to who trained them, remember this is for all the employees, more power to you all.

Regardless of that, I had thought it was fine, since I make it a point to hydrate and pump my arm, upon the "drawing" portion of the aphaeresis procedure, that way I can reliably be done with my donation within 30 minutes, absolute tops! HOWEVER, the last 3 or 4 times I've been in, I have been sat down WAITING, just waiting, to be stuck by one of the [several] phlebologists on the floor, for 15 to 20 minutes! It's absolutely ridiculous, truly. I see no reason for their asking you to take a bed, only to make you wait for whoever to finally step up and get you started. My time at the facility should not take this long, not when they've got enough staff on (I'm counting 6 phlebologists on right now, and the beds are not all being utilized)! Also, no more complimentary bottles of water (4oz) at the front? If they run out by midday, they should restock. Hydration is the LEAST they could provide their patrons with! Oh yeah. They've recently brought down their "incentives", too! By at least $10. *facepalm* In short, unless you're desperate, I would seriously reconsider coming here at all. Telecris (Grifols) pays way better (too bad there aren't any on the west)!!

This is a review for this specific location but also many other csl centers throughout the city…read more This North Loop location, I don't know who is more ghetto the kids and geriatrics they have working there or the tweekers who frequent this location. Every single one of those workers has the qualifications of a McDonald's server or Walmart greeter and the customer service skills of a cop. They must have an astronomical turnover rate because there is always some inexperienced child or incompetent elderly new hire working there, all with the shittiest attitudes. If you ask them a question they don't know, they will just casually lie and make things up, about medical information. Everyone there has the worst work ethic and acts like you are bothering them, when their company is making like $400+ a donation. I once sat waiting to be disconnected from the plasma machine after it was done and had to wait TWENTY minutes. Once, when I asked for a band aid, they just threw it at me. They also play loud annoying music like if it is a club because no one there takes their job seriously. On numerous occasions the workers were singing and dancing like school girls as they were taking my vitals. Grifols is right next door and I would highly recommend them over CSL. Grifols gives better sign up promotions but also pays you a lot more daily for your donation. Every CSL center I have been to I have had very similar experiences, there is ZERO quality control individually at branches or across the city. And there are always low qualified idiots with shit attitude who will lie about anything to just get you moving along. Grifols is a ton better and I am sure the other plasma centers must be too.
