I paid for his "concierge" Primary care several years agp. I would not recommend him to anyone. I had a variety of issues, which he seemed to not believe me about. He took me off my thyroid medication for weeks, until he did a Thyroglobulin Ab test, which was sky high. His office ignored my latex allergy, using a latex tourniquet for my blood draw. That was fun. Instead of providing regular care for my issues, Dr. Armbrust referred me out to be seen regularly by an allergist, and made no plans to follow up with me. After about 5 weekly appts with the allergist, who could do nothing for my issues, I scheduled with Armbrust again. I was told to "examine my faith" (I hadn't realized I signed up for spiritual counseling. My bad). My issues went unaddressed so I had to, amidst all my medical issues, try to find a new Primary Care doc. (No, I didn't get my "concierge fee" refunded.) read more
