I looked around and found this service where they specialize in the repair of small engine machines - a perfect description of a snow blower. Looked around on YELP and found the favorably reviewed Pop's, and thought I would give it a try. Long story short - five stars. Pop's will come out and pickup and return your machine if it is a bit too big for you to lug around, so that is an extremely nice part of the service. He came out on a day's notice and grabbed up the machine, took it to his service store, and went over the whole machine to bring it up to snuff. He returned it about 6 days later and I haven't had a problem since. I will be the first to admit I got lucky. I called Pop's about 10 days before our area had consecutive days of snow. All told we got something like 24 inches of snow in the next couple of weeks, and the machine worked perfectly. I purposely waited to test the machine before putting a review up - but I can't wait any longer. Pop's service was excellent, he put the machine in tip-top shape, and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. It is a family business and they do wonderful work. If you have a small engine machine with problems - snow blowers, lawn mowers, etc. - give Pop's a try. You won't be sorry. His rates are very reasonable, and his pick-up/drop-off charge is very fair. Highly recommended.

For the past years I have taken my neighbor and my Toro in for a winter tune up. Chris called the other day after evaluating one of the Toro's and said that one of the machines oil and filter are extremely clean and really no need to change them out--- just sharpen the blade. I was impressed that he was very truthful and could not justify charging me for a complete winterization because it was not necessary. That kind of integrity speaks volumes about Chris and the staff at Burke's. It is also the reason why I have purchased many Echo products and recently a Toro walk behind lawnmower from Burke's Lawn & Garden store. Highly recommend you consider Burke's when looking for outdoor power equiptment. Joe Cunius

Unfortunately this company will not fix their work because I hurt the owners feelings. I was told he won't do anything until I apologize to him. Keep in mind, this project took 32 days.
