This experience was okay. I am not sure if I would classify it so much to be a ride but it felt more like the studio tour where they hit you with info, show you a 5 second like show and boom you're done. In this place the premise is to join the crew of Armageddon and discover the history of special effects. This process is drawn out because they make you wait until they get the crowd size they prefer before they let you in, definitely not a revolving door attraction. Then once you get in the door you wait some more before the facilitator starts the attraction. At the time I went it was ok, they had a few quips here and there but overall a dry hype person as they run through via video everything that's going to happen. Once you get to the main attraction you are supposed go through the experience of being in the Armageddon during a meteor shower and see the visual effects of a few things blowing up and shutting down on the inside.
Overall I was not impressed and definitely won't be repeating the experience. read more
