I love how there's always one store which has amazing pins, but I did feel like there should have been a 'maker' shop Disneyland California and Tokyo Disney both have where you can make embroidered and personalized items with your name on them. It was also a bit of a bummer for me that Disneyland Paris had no Pooh ride, but Adventureland had the best Pooh merch of all the stores we stopped into, even though you would think Fantasyland would be the place to go. Finally, the pin trading at Disneyland Paris is not to be beat. The pins are amazing, high quality and large, and trading in Adventureland was one of the highlights of our visit. All in all, Adventureland is definitely an area not to be missed if you're visiting Disneyland Paris.

C'est le meilleur parc sur terre!! :)…read more I really enjoyed visiting Parc Astérix three summers ago, not trying to measure it up to Disneyland or American equivalents, but as a uniquely French amusement park, rather off the beaten path for two Americans. It took us forever to get there since the shuttle never picked us up at the Louvre due to rain, we trekked it to Charles de Gaulle and caught the charter bus from there. Soaked in rolled up jeans, flip flops and "100% anti pluie" ponchos, we had a blast sipping on tall cans of 1664 and running around the amusement park. There are plenty of old, Romanesque statues and plenty of photo opps. Lots of fun rides for families and people of any age, and it felt very safe. And the gift shop sold HOOKAHS. Tell me where you'd find that in les États-Unis! Way worth the bus ride out there from Paris!

Kiddie rides only, Must be accompanied and Can ride unaccompanied. Both kids are Must ride accompanied or taller so we're golden. Dad can take his kiddos on everything! Until we show up to one of the more fun looking rides a discover that they've got a totally different height chart. Now neither of the girls are tall enough. Come on! It was stupid and a serious buzz kill. The best ride of the park was the Hydra. We ran most of the way over there and ended up being the last group of riders for the day. This thing spins you around and hops you up and down so smoothly that I was squealing like and idiot for a solid 5 minutes. And the fact that my little girls were right there with me? What a joy. And an awesome way to end the day. Park's closed, I carry my littlest one to the parking lot and think "Hey, only an hour and a half til dinner."

This is the 3D ride that is very much like the version at California Disney. I think that is why we didn't want to pay extra when it was such a long wait. This ride is fun, but seems a bit outdated. With rides like Rise of the Resistance at California Disney (Galaxies edge), this one doesn't hold a candle. I hope Disney updates this ride. It's due for an upgrade/ remodel.

The ride itself is longer than the original and a little less realistic - I'd say the animatronics are weaker and a little more doll like, but it has some of the classic vibes and I personally thought the air quality was better than expected. It is a must do at Disneyland Paris? No. But we had Premier Access so there was no reason not to try it out and see what their version was like, so if you're in the same boat I'd definitely recommend trying it out. My friend and I were able to experience just about everything we wanted in around 4-5 hours on a Sunday. If you want to optimize time you can definitely pair with Disneyland Park and do a 1 day trip. If you've been to Walt Disney World in Florida, this park feels very similar to Hollywood Studios in both layout and attractions. It has a familiar vibe, especially with the Tower of Terror, which was a childhood favorite of mine. During my mid-June visit, the crowds were surprisingly manageable. The wait times were relatively short all day, and the only ride I used Premier Access for was Tower of Terror, which cost about $12 and was well worth it. One of my favorite areas was Avengers Campus. The atmosphere is fantastic, but I was disappointed to learn that the superhero photo experiences can only be booked through the Disneyland Paris app on the day of your visit. By the time I arrived, every reservation was already gone. I really wish they offered more traditional character meet-and-greet lines or standby photo opportunities for guests who miss out on reservations. Overall, this isn't the best Disney park in the world, but it's still a solid experience that's absolutely worth visiting, especially if you're already making the trip all the way to Paris. Just go in knowing it's a smaller park, and you'll likely have a great time.

This park is literally right next to the entrance of DLP, so it's easy to park hop. You'd probably get everything done in a day here easily, if not sooner. The effects and scenes are magnificent, and the entire experience feels like stepping into a beautifully haunted film from which escape may not be guaranteed. I rode it seven times during the slower season, when it was practically a walk-on. I strongly recommend experiencing it at night, when the manor becomes especially picturesque beneath the moonlit sky. Though I must warn you: the ghosts may not remain behind when you leave. One followed me home and appeared beside my bed, pale and translucent, with an expression of grave urgency. I assumed he had come to claim my soul. It does feel slightly longer but from the music to the decor to the doom buggies, everything is just a little less magical. The best parts are the echos of the original.
