The iconic Disneyland ride that brings us all together. We are all one. You get on the ride and cruise past different parts of the world. It shows different cultures and how they live- or the perception of how they live. The United States was represented by some cowboys and what looked like sheep herders lolol I guess that is what we do in the US lol Wild Wild West over here (Yeeeehaaaaaaaa lol) *grabs rope to gather up some cattle* (literally never have done this in my life and never would lol) That made me laugh. They also showed Hollywood and the Statue of Liberty as well. Nice representations of New York and California (Hollywood). Some of the representations are just comical. But overall, it is just cute seeing all the people and how connected everyone really is. This is a peaceful ride. Easy for all ages and is nice if you need a break from walking around.

Ok So they think of us as cowboys. Its ok, I understand. Yes, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Statue of Liberty are proudly displayed and there is a musical production type ginger rogers Fred Astaire dance going on. It is actually very charming to see so much of America represented in Hopi Indians and Hay rides. Surprisingly no Gangsters form NY or Chicago, and No Las Vegas lights, but that would not be very family friendly would it? I did enjoy the ride, it is similar to the American version but different too. It is like that with all the rides and beware of the roller coasters. These aren't kiddie rides in Paris. Just this one maybe:)

Disneyland Paris - Disneyland Park at Night

A charming park! Not…read morea very big park, but a very beautiful park. There are much less rides to enjoy here, but much more pretty views and things to-do. The food is also not as good at this park, but there are some wonderful sit-down dining experiences. Pros and cons, but overall a park that's worth the visit at least once! Really enjoyed a few of the rides. For the thrilling rides, I LOVED Hyperspace Mountain. Coming from CA, it was not at all what I expected, but I had a great time. It was basically a full-on roller coaster and I screamed the entire time. Avengers Flight Force was also unexpectedly thrilling. Loved Crush's Coaster and of course Frozen Ever After and Ratatouille were fantastic. I really liked Phantom Manor which I found to be spookier than the original Haunted Mansion. Big Thunder was fun (and longer) and more thrilling than its CA counterpart. I had a great time!

I think Disneyland Paris is great for locals, but if you live in the states, the best part of the…read morepark is how fantastic the pins are. While we absolutely adored Tokyo Disney, which is unique from it's merch to it's rides, Disneyland Paris feels like a logistically difficult echo to what's in the states. The TGV train from the airport wasn't great and getting picked up by Uber at the station was rife with scams. We felt generally that the park was not worth the hassle you go through to transit there (somewhat similar to my feelings on WDW actually). That being said the food was good and I enjoyed trying our Premier Access for rides (it made our visit a lot more smooth) but all in all I don't see us coming back as there's not much here that's unique outside of their fantastically large pins.

The spookier, the better (that's my mindset anyway lol) The Phantom Manor lives up to the hype! It triumphs its American counterpart and buries it 6 feet under... (creepy huh? lol) Insert evil laugh bwuahahahaha Okay but really, this was a great attraction- a must see! If you like Halloween and spooky things. As others have noted; it is darker than the Haunted Mansion. So, no little littles for this one. Sadly, I didn't get any pictures. I was too wrapped up in the experience to even think about photos. But that's okay.

From what I read because they changed the music for French audiences and this version is in Frontierland they changed the scope of the ride and felt it needed a different name. In my opinion, Phantom Manor (like most of the rides we rode at Disneyland Paris) was weaker than the original at Disneyland. It does feel slightly longer but from the music to the decor to the doom buggies, everything is just a little less magical. The best parts are the echos of the original. With Premier Pass the ride was walk on (although up a few sets of stairs), so I definitely recommend riding it if you visit, but I would keep my expectations low.
