Tristan with Armada was our knight on shining armor today. Saved us from cooking on the side of the Freeway in San Bernardino with 106° weather. Just a flat tire on our trailer, but the wrong lugwrench and we were stuck. Other companies don't work on trailers, but Armada wasn't scared. Just a floor jack and an impact was all they needed. We were accepting of a 45 minute wait once we found out Armada was on their way but then 15 minutes later and Tristan shows up. Hallelujah! Worst tow truck yard ever. Front desk lady was rude and answered the phone to say they weren't open and there's nothing she can do till they open. So why answer the phone? Called back at time they "opened" *says 24hours on website* to tell me my vehicle isn't there. How hard was it to search 15 minutes before opening? Lazy much? I end up having to sleep in my car because he would not tell me because I had a truck with buckets and a spare tire in the back, I pay a lot of money to have them for 13 years and this is what I get this. They dispatched a truck and our tow truck literally showed up 4 minutes later (not typical or expected as waiting is expected for any tow) Richard, our driver got the car up on the truck without any issues and was a complete professional. He was very friendly and was able to get the car off the truck and into our garage again without any issue. As good of an experience as anyone can expect when needing a tow. read more

I have AAA and they were called for my tow I was told 2hrs wait time for my tow I'm broken down in a bridge with small shoulder so I complained and asked for something sooner Armada not wanting to loose the tow said ok they will be there in 45 min over an hour later still no tow tuck and they give a new eta of an hour to hour and half. No idea how you guys have a partnership with AAA. Requested a tow at 4:40pm and got an ETA of 6:50. Check back an hour later and now it says 7:30pm and was transferred to a different armada driver. Wait another hour and now it says 9:30pm and was transferred to another armada driver. The whole time I'm stuck on the road 3 minutes away from their business building location. I would've been better off pushing the car back home and still probably would of made it there before you guys arrived. read more

When I finally got my car picked up I discovered that someone had stolen a brand new pair of Red Wing boots that I had in the trunk. If I could give no stars I would. They never showed up, after an hour of waiting, I called AAA to see what was taking so long, According to AAA, armada towing told AAA that I called and canceled. Which was a not true. Enroute to a family holiday ski vacation up to the mountains, my car was experiencing over heating issues. Thinking I could handle it , at night, in the cold, with 2 dogs a family member in my car riding with me and another car with family behind us, I quickly realized it was a dangerous situation. After adding water and turning on the ac unit as a quick trick to get off the highway and into a safer location during a holiday weekend timing couldnt be worse. After some luck and prayers I called AAA and was able to get Sergio enroute to us with a flat bed on a sunday night on a crazy holiday weekend. Thank God for Armada towing and Sergio! He was able to tow my car back to our specific mechanic shop im a safe and timely manner making a stressful situation for me into one that was effortless and avoided a panic attack on my end. Thank You Sergio for being so prompt and patient with us during the chaos with family and dogs and everything else. Happy Birthday to you! If I could give this place (Fontana location) zero stars, it would still be too many. By far the worst tow company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The situation of my tow required someone meet the driver at the destination to pay for the extra miles, but the driver, Raphael, who picked up my car left me with no eta and no contact information. He then became short with me when he called saying he was already at the destination and needed someone to be there immediately. He kept speaking over me and repeating himself, unwilling to allow me to find a solution to our problem. I then received a call from their office and the person spoke to me rudely from the very beginning, cut me off mid-sentence multiple times, spoke over me constantly, and then threatened to have the driver turn around and impound my car. And to top it all off the driver didn't even show up to drop my car off at the correct location, which was GIVEN TO HIM BY AAA. Never in my life have I experienced such appalling customer service, and I hope they lose their contract with AAA as well as any other companies. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS!!!! read more

When I called for the estimate they told me $480 and $60 more for each day! I waited 30 minutes for the driver to show up. He called once for directions, as he had gone to the wrong location. I shared a google pin and he arrived 10 minutes later. He arrived in a car when we needed and expected a tow truck. When he realized he couldn't help he just left. I stopped him to ask if someone else would be coming. I called AAA for a tow on my 1951 Mercury today. They said I should have a tow truck within an hour typically AAA. I got a call from a woman as soon as I hung up from AAA saying the driver was on his way with an eta of 20 minutes. Once I hung up with her the driver Carlos called and said he would be there in 6 minutes. This is the first time I have ever called for a tow truck and had the driver there so quick. I couldn't believe it. The car is sentimental and Carlos was great. I wish this was the way every AAA request was. Not your typical tow service. They definitely went above and beyond. I would put no stars if I could. I needed my truck towed from my mechanic to my home so I called AAA. This company took the claim from AAA and they left me hanging! I never received updates and when AAA provided me with their number and claim number the gentleman was extremely rude when I asked for an ETA. He told me to get a different company to tow my truck, after I waited over two hours already! Please save yourself the trouble and do not use them! Giving these guys 1 star. Armada sent out a battery technician. He chose to tell me it was the starter even though it was clearly engaging, but did not have enough juice to crank. It is a big block '72 429 so it takes some juice to turn over. He then proceedes to call the tow truck. That's when Benny arrived from Big Bear Towing. I explained to him the situation and he agreed. He hooked up his powerful jumper cables to the front of his truck and BAM! The car was up and roaring again. James Ramirez went above to beyond to help me open my car. I stupidly locked my keys in my trunk and when he initially unlocked my car, my alarm disabled my trunk button from the inside. We found a YouTube video that helped him find a secret latch to fold down my back seats. I was then able to crawl inside my trunk and retrieve my keys. He was very kind and patient. This company is by far the worst tow truck company I have experienced this far. I had an appointment at 6am-7am thru AAA to have my car towed to a collision center. The tow truck driver arrives at 6:20am to pick up my vehicle. I unfortunately had to accompany the driver. So while we are driving he gets a call from someone telling him he needs to use the tow tuck that we are in for a Police Call. He ask the tow driver is the AAA member with you (which is me). The tow driver responds "yes". The person responds "O well bro, I need that tow truck". The tow truck driver then explains to me "O I am the night driver and if I do your tow it will put me into overtime." Which was weird to me because I felt that if that was the case then why would he pick up me and vehicle. We then proceed to the tow truck yard. The driver unloads my vehicle on the street and tells me to wait inside my car where it will be warm. Now mind you its 6:40 in the morning, its 49 degrees outside, my car is not going to be much warmer because it has also been sitting outside all night long in the winter weather. I ask him how long will I be sitting in my car. He then tells me to ask the office. I then proceed to the office where I meet the rudest individual who claims he is the supervisor. His name is Jay, I asked him how long would I be waiting outside in the cold his answer was that he didn't know and he didn't know what was going on. I then ask him will someone call me to let me know. He answer was "I don't know!" He then start yelling because I had to ask him again about what was going on. The reason why I had keep asking him the same question because his answers did not make any sense. If you are a supervisor for any company it is your job to make it your business to find out what is going on so that you can resolve the issue. But looking at the reviews from other people I guess this Jay character is used to being rude and not helping what so ever. Why would this company send a driver that was not ready or able to do my tow. I could of stayed at home for this mess until Armada towing figured it out. Now I am sitting in my cold car!
