My dog is old and blind but the vets here help him live his best life. And I appreciate the reasonable cost of his care.

I was reccomended to take my cat in since he has been sick and lethargic and not eating, and our normal vet couldn't see him for another week due to Covid regulations. I wanted them to do some bloodwork and give him antibiotics if needed. They did an xray instead, with an additional photo, gave him a shot of antibiotics as well as some for me to take home, then charged my partner and I 722 dollars for the visit. We were told that the x-rays would be sent to a professional and we would hear back within the next day about the results. We got a call two days later from the vet who worked on my cat, saying that the xray showed "a tumor, fluid, pus or blood" in his abdomen, that he wasn't sure which it was, but could send them to that professional for an additional fee. I thought that was what we were charged for initially? Why would they charge do an xray, then charge more to interpret the results? He also said he wanted to test for FeLV, and then stressed that my cat would need "therapy" after but couldn't specify what that therapy was. The vet was very pushy over the phone and it was hard to get him to slow down enough for my partner or I to ask any questions. The FeLV test they wanted to run was about 95 dollars, he said, over twice the price of our regular vet. At this point I am taking my cat to his appointment with our regular vet on the 21st for a second opinion, as well as the bloodwork I had initially wanted. He is still lethargic and not eating despite being on antibiotics. I'm thankful that they gave him the shot, hence the 2 stars.

I cant stress enough how much I love this clinic. Today they stayed over hours to help my elderly hospice rescue. They could have had me come in tomorrow, but instead one of the techs offered to stay after hours and help him. Love this place so much.

Their passion for our pets health, their kindness, the empathy and knowledge, excellent surgery skills, their call backs, their being a family business instead of a corporation which changes staff constantly- theres just so much positive here when we want and need a vet for life. I'd clone them if I could. i dont want them to ever retire! we got lucky finding them in Arlington after trials with a few other vet clinics in the city we had lived in when we first got of cat then our dog.

She had diabetes and detached retinas, neither of which Dr Rosie was aware of when I took her for an exam. Now I find that the wife (front desk person) must have blacklisted this poor cat because (1) they never answer the phone and (2) they never call me back! My cat was unable to pass urine, I left a message at 1:30 (they were at their 2-hour lunch, good grief) and again at 3:15 (when they should have been back from their 2 hour lunch). Never a call back. What kind of person does that knowing I'm desperate for help with this poor cat? I just can't believe that these people are still in business. I wish they would retire and sell the clinic to someone who actually CARES about animals and customer service. Good luck with leaving a message and actually getting a response from Mrs Rosie. She does not represent her husband well.

It is at a horse farm after all... Anyways, long story short- my dog got a potential burn while we were camping (over an hour away from home) and so I rushed him to the closest vet I could find on yelp once I got service again. It was here. Turns out, he didn't even get burnt, really. His eyelid got a little pink and then it went away. But we're crazy paranoid and protective so we treated it like an emergent situation. This doctor immediately gave my dog two shots without asking me or even looking him over. It was clearly his go to with any patient, regardless of the issue. Then he sprayed a similar "antibiotic" on his gums... he even tied to spray it on my neck! He charged me $180 for this. And I left feeling terrified about what was just injected into my dog. I called my regular vet as soon as I left and turns out they knew of him! Apparently, he is a horse vet but gives all sizes and species the same medicines in varying doses. Also, I told them the names of what he injected into my dog and they said they were harmless but also not helpful in any way. They were more like "home remedies" that he swears by. So I wasted $180 for something I could've put a little ice on. Just be aware of what you're getting into.
