They are not the friendliest police force around, but they do not seem to bother citizens unnecessarily and are responsive to calls for noise and car accidents. I had an experience with one aggressive officer years ago, but it worked out when he realized I was telling the truth about not putting on my headlights fast enough. He wasn't a bad person, he was just being cautious. I have not heard of any incidents of corruption. One time I approached two police officers on break to thank them for all that they do and they smiled warmly. When I filmed a short film they even allowed me to film at the front of their building and were quite supportive (without compromising any of the staff or citizens' privacy). The key is to be respectful and professional, and they seem to be easy to deal with.

All is blocked. My case happened in Alexandra. I was hit by my coworker. Then I went to Alexandra police station to ask for my report. But they said they can only give me actual report if I come with attorney. At first the black lady in font desk. She was happy to give it to me. But when the white lady in the office comes out ask and tell her something, she denied to give me my report and just gave me this paper without any information about the women who (Chinese women) hit me. It's so so odd. Everyone I asked ( even my client- Arlington police) they said that it is uncommon, that I should talk to attorney about this.

I went online and filled out some paperwork in advance. Of course, when I get there, they handed me a form to fill out and don't have any pens available then. So I filled out the form in pencil (which was all I had) only to be told when my number was called I had to re-complete the form in pen....only to be told actually I don't need the form at all since I already provided that information online, Also be sure to listen for your number being called, I didn't miss mine but another guy did and not sure if they made him wait longer as a result or not. The DMV representative at the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable even though it was later in the afternoon. Obviously, I hope to avoid ever going to the DMV again but if I'm forced to I'll probably come back to this location.

Also, this place is full of coughing and sneezing people--probably 3-4 dozen. Why not allow people to wait outside or nearby and return to the building when it's their turn (eg., by calling or texting them). I'm so glad to see all of the taxes I pay this state, including the ridiculous annual car tax, going to fuel such an efficient operation!

Amenities - None of the outlets for the desks work, and the molding on them prevents most stuff being plugged in anyway. I had to crawl under the table and remove the desk plus and use the floor plugs directly. Setting - Terrible, the staff do nothing to enforce a good library setting conducive to reading and studying. It's always incredibly loud, lots of screaming kids, and just obnoxious people talking full volume, laughing out loud, or big meeting groups humming around. They let homeless people sleep and malinger around all over the place and it STINKS. Cleanliness - Disgusting, the floors and surfaces are always very dirty and the bathrooms are third world. Shit smeared everywhere, USED TP all over the place, broken soap dispensers off the walls never replaced, never any paper towels, etc. I also witnessed a homeless guy doing drugs off the sink. Comfort - Need more comfy seating. Only a few soft seats and none with feet support or reclining. Most of the chairs are very hard and the desks/tables are set too low. Staff - Seems overall to be friendly but very aloof.
