We decided to move forward, and my initial concern about driveway compaction disappeared the moment I drove the trailer onto the finished surface--it was rock solid! Shayne also called and sent pictures showing that a few 4x6 boards had twists, and he replaced them with straight ones without hesitation. He kept me updated with photos of the plate tampers (1500lb) in action.
